Despite the odds, I get out metal detecting and it pays off with some awesome old finds! Coins and Relics were everywhere! I had a great time out Finding America while using my Minelab Manticore and the M9 coil.

Just went through the worst hurricane I've ever been through and I've lived in Florida my whole life. You are a great reprieve. Thank you. ✌️♥️🙏🙏

So glad you made it through that monster of a hurricane, Karen. I followed it all day and night watching Bryan Hall Y'all on RU-vid. I have never seen so many tornadoes touch down during one storm! There were over 130 tornado warnings! Just incredible. I hope you didn't have any damage and I'm glad I could give you a little escape from all of that. I lived in Florida for fifteen years in Tampa and the worst one that came through there then was the No Name Storm. Glad you enjoyed watching this one! ATB Greg

The first part is definitely a snap for holding the side curtains on to a touring car from the 1910s or 1920s. My grandfather's 1926 Dodge Brothers touring uses those. Not exactly sure of the right name, but they probably have other uses as well.

Hi Greg, glad you weathered the storm well. Too bad about the bum foot. I see you're still finding stuff in threes, cool! The spark plugs reminds me of my first car. I was so proud to get under the hood of my 1965 Dodge Coronet 440, checking plugs and oil, and tweaking this and that. That car really impressed the boys! Nowadays, to impress the "boys," I have to beat them at cribbage! How times have changed. . . Thanks for the fun video, Greg, take care of yourself, and watch where you're stepping.🤗😉

Another great video. I like finding those old spark plugs and other old car parts too. I've found 2 plugs so far, a blue crown husky and another with just AC on it. Also found an old interior door handle to a 1940 Plymouth. Most people probably think they are trash but I really like that stuff.

More great old photos...doesn't that little duckling make you smile!---I especially liked the street scene in old Santa Fe, I knew w/o reading the title where it was from!---Do you have headings for those photos that look like the start of the Great Land Grab?
@FindingAmerica
@FindingAmerica 15 часов назад
Thanks Alana and I love that one depicting the street scene in Sante Fe. I keep looking to see Clint Eastwood stepping out of one of the doorways. Just an amazing photo. As for the other ones, the one with the cowboys stampeding towards the camera was taken i New Mexico during a cattle drive roundup while they were racing to dinner. The other one with all the wagons is actually an amazing photo of Custer and the 7th Cavalry while they were traveling between camps. The little duck photo makes me laugh every time I see it. :) ATB Greg

@@FindingAmerica Mentioning Custer brings to memory a billboard heading west toward Bismarck (I have family ties in ND) that had the blazing statement of STAY IN NORTH DAKOTA and in small letters at the bottom, but still large enough to be easily read...Custer was still alive when HE left. !

The first item is something to hold a tarp or such down. It would go through a slot and then be turned a half twist so it can’t slip back through the slot.
