*Loved* Titans. Genuinely a great addition to the game, especially since it allowed powerfull characters like Sargeras FEEL as strong in-game as they are in the lore I just wish that they were all a little more even. *Yogg-Saron, Unleashed* , even after the nerf, is literally one of the most powerfull cards ever printed and I HATE that its in basically every deck
I loved titans especially primus especially in the mirror where you had to be cautious about a rival primus killing it(although sometimes it could be more annoying then interesting)
The problem with Voltron is that only one of its abilities is powerful. It's used in mech decks for the synergies but it's not the best card in the deck it's just okay.
All in all, Argus is alright, when you need to put something in for a slower DH, giving the entire board Lifesteal or Rush is generally good. Eonar doesn't really do a whole lot in Standard right now, since Druid is kinda bad and it just doesnt entirely need it at the moment
I play Argus in Reno Demon Hunter in Standard. It's definitely not an incredible deck, but it can get you to legend and is super fun. Argus's lifesteal can save you some games and it's great for that, also reducing the cost of Yogg to get it out a turn earlier can can be beneficial sometimes.
Make it symmetrical so its actually lone ranger stand off. Not "i win because i have a board and i just deleted your board and you cant have board next turn".
Voltron is playable in Reno rogue but nobody plays that outside of sbergs, me, and a handful of random Chinese players 🗿 Edit - you can run timeline with him and zilliax, he’s pretty nice when you pull him for 4 mana lol
I'd say amanthul is the best one in standard at least, it gets played in all decks even the aggro ones whereas eonar is mostly just stuck into the slow ones and was only really a key card in the shatterd one and boomkin.
I know none of this is supposed to look super professional but you can resize the text box so you don’t have to hit enter whenever a line gets too long, it takes like 3 seconds and would improve readability but it doesn’t super matter
Argus isn't played at all in Demon Hunter in Standard. In fact I've literally only seen him twice, and both times were in Arena. Nothing Argus does is something Demon Hunter is really all that interested in, though admittedly that's largely because Demon Hunter as a class has basically no functioning archetypes at the moment.
Check out the latest VS report. The strongest DH build runs Argus, the Emerald Star and it's the second most powerful deck in the top 1k legend bracket. It's just that no one cares so it's play rate is super low.
He can be invaluable in discounting Sharpshooter and the other nagas. But the deck is called Shopper DH, not Naga DH, and that's for a reason: The main game plan of this deck is to win by scamming people with the Shopper and maintaining the tempo with some of the spells and nagas, and then switch to OTK-ing (with the Titan only having a secondary role in this plan B)
Perhaps a controversial opinion: Khaz'goroth is a brilliantly designed card, but it doesn't work because board presence doesn't carry as much weight anymore. Just a perfect outcome: kill 3 big minions, 5 armor and one time 5 attack, draw specific card from deck AND 11/12 ("dormant for 3 turns") for 6 mana. The fact that 11/12 is his strongest trait and 11/12 is so bland in today's hs is in my opinion th reason why he is taken as a weak/useless titan.
He's shit even if you're in standard (so games dont end super fast) and you run into a board based deck. The dude was made to fight for board but against board based deck he just runs into wrong target so often to be reliable against board based deck. Also hes very fragile initially so opponent just kills him with rush or left over minion even in no removal card deck. Hes only good when opponent has only 1-2 minions on board, doesnt run removal or rush, and only plays 1-2 minion at a time and you win all random target diceroll whenever there is more than 1 target. That's just never gonna happen. I think at very least he needs more stat and targetting to be more specific than random.
I mean, I'm not a big fan of Reno, but on the other hand, fuck Sargeras. Having waves of taunt is fairly polarizing, but it have no counter play was real dumb, especially when you could reduce its cost. I'm glas I'm not seeing that card much anymore in standard
also V0LTR0N was really good in standard and has seen a ton of competitive play, falling off after badlands release. I dont really like Jalex's opinions and he complains a lot, but basically the rogue titan is bad for the class because its never going to be used outside of specific archetypes, and i dont think Jalex likes those archetypes for the class. A lot of other classes got versatile titans while rogue's is hyperspecific and doesnt really fit most rogue deck's gameplans. In my opinion i think its better that way, but I can see why he wouldn't like the card, not that its a bad card
@aidanbrown2077 I know he hated it even more during Nathria when they tried pushing Secret Rogue. I think the best use of it in Wild at the moment is in Reno Rogue. Has some good tutoring options ironically because Rogue has so few synergies off of mechs historically (at least explicit synergies).
@@jamesberkeley390 Ligma balls. In all seriousness, he's a Hearthstone influencer who's mostly known for his takes on Twitter and Reddit, talks a lot about Rogue and card game design. He's very controversial.
I mean currently those are the only 8mana or higher cards that are playable in this handbuff paladin metagame. I like warlock. discard you opponents cards, transform your deck and hands into legendaries, zoo and handlock. Huge fan of Tickatus warlock and I'm trying wheel warlock. Symphony of sins The standard version of tickatus. Oh and I like demon hunter when it's was face face deal 20 damage from hand. Buy now it's just deal 4 damage from hand. sobsob they masicured my boy.
To be fair when shopper DH was busted in standard Reno DH used Argus as a filler legendary, and a way to reduce the shoppers cost even more but now it’s dead again until some other deck needs its ability
Also for Voltron it’s okay for mech rogue if you hit it with a windfury buff to get both missiles and elusive, but beyond that it’s too slow and mostly just a top end filler. It was much stronger when mech rogue was busted at titans launch
Argus is strong atm in Naga Shopper DH. It's strong because it can discount your hand for the popoff turn with the Sharpshooter. I have no experience with the deck, but I was burned down from 25 health to dead in a single turn, so it's no joke.
I just noticed... You say Power Point because they are slides. I always understand it as: this is the point of power that we are going to discuse... Lol
@@FlareIsGone i mean... I understand it as a "Power Point", the literal meaning of it, where you would explain the relevance about its "Power" in the "Point" of history it was realesed.
It's actually really stupid how they just decided to kill Sargeras one expansion after he was released. There's no way in hell this card will ever see play again, too slow to win against aggro, and against other control decks, well, Reno exists.
My favorite titan is Amanthul simply because I love priest. I use Argus in Reno DH thats it. Also I love how people complained about Sageras being uniteractive and now his a victum to Reno.
