My mom doesn’t own a vacuum sealer but she manages to get all the air out of the Ziploc bag by submersing Said bag almost all of the way in a basin of water, then zippering it shut. Does a pretty darn good job. Those jalapeño poppers look fantastic!

I have actually left an inch or two open if the ziplock bag and put my mouth in the gap and sucked the air out and quickly zipped it shut as I’m sucking the last of the air out

Have you tried the submerging in water vacuum seal trick? Almost seal the bag, submerge up to the zipper in water, all the air is displaced out of the bag by the water and then press the seal shut :)

I saw an idea to use a straw to suck the air out of the bag. Close the bag except for one corner insert straw.

I have been canning for several weeks. We were gifted 30 lb carrots. Done. Gifted 4 red cabbage. Sweet & Sour cabbage done. Green beans. Green Peas. Green beans w/new potatoes. Lima Beans. Green cabbage. Potatoes. Corn. Salsa. Canning is my favorite time in the kitchen. We are in North Mississippi next to Memphis. I absolutely love all your videos. My husband is a Dallas Cowboy Fan and a SEC Fan. Dak has already been hurt.

Kentucky gal here…Seal one inch from the edge, fill sink with water and dip the bag in the sink of water slowly until you get to the top, then finish closing up…and it will push all the air out.

Oh snap....if you put bread crumbs on top of the peppers....they are the bomb. Just smash the crumbs on top and you can freeze 'em as well! Ready for the next game! Bake as normal...done!

You said when you had taco pizza to keep your pizza varieties open, and now you're eating jalapeño poppers. Well our new favorite pizza that we tried a few months ago is jalapeño popper pizza. There are recipes you can look up online. It is a life-changer. 🙌 So, so good! Also, I love your channel. I've been binging it the last couple days. 😅

Take green beans clean them if they got dirt break them up put them in a seal-a-mill bag seal them up real good put them in the freezer do not blanch them cook them what heavy take them out wash them put them in your pot and cook them like you just broke them up and you're not going to tell no difference they're awesome

I do both, blanch half and not blanch half . When you blanch it's longer to air dry. Plus, we love our fresh green beans!

There's a special tool I found on Amazon that gets guts out of my peppers very easily! I use it for tomatoes too when processing.🙂

Love watching your channel Zach and Jen, but as a long time pony/horse owner you need to get a farrier out to take a look at your pony's feet. They need to be trimmed and it appears to me that the pony has foundered which honestly is not a good thing. You can tell by watching him/her walk that they are in pain.
