Same I didn’t know what I wanted to do and I wasn’t ready to “grow up” so I decided to go to grad school to give myself more time to decide what I want to do later on...
I felt the same way when I graduated with my BA in 2017. I took a semester off after i graduated and I went back in the Fall to take one class to expand my skill set. I now am pursuing my post-baccalaureate certificate in interactive design (website development.) I'm sure every college senior feels the way you're describing, it's normal! You got this!!
Your study videos motivate me to study .So keep on making them. i'm literally studying right now. i took a break to watch your video and i'm going back to my books. :-)
I love Natalie Barbu! & I feel you so much about what you said at the end, I have goals and aspirations but I don't know how to get there and each year that I'm not doing anything towards my goals I feel like my time is running out faster and faster and I don't think a 20 year old should feel that way.
I love your videos. They are so real. I’m in college studying cardiovascular technology and I love watching you to get motivated and study tips!! Also, totally felt the contentment with an 80 and I feel like most youtubers wouldn’t admit that or even their real grade. Super cool too because i have a dog and i struggle with feeling like i’m not there enough between work and school and it’s neat to watch someone do the same.
Girl, I feel you! I just graduated in May and post-grad depression hit me HARD. I was terrified of not knowing what I was going to do, how I was going to support myself, etc. I know this sounds so cliché and super cheesy, but everything will work itself out and you'll be okay! And you're right, I watch Natalie's videos and she's really out here doing it.... you can make it work too! Working full-time is super exhausting and a huge change from college but you'll master it, along with RU-vid. "She believed she could, so she did" Always remember that :)
I graduated about two years ago and I’m current juggling a full time job and grad school - it’s definitely not as scary post graduation as it is during your last year of undergrad. Post graduation depression may hit you super super hard for a bit (it definitely did for me, I was having an existential crisis every week basically), but then you kind of figure out you don’t have to know what you want to do! Now that I’m a few years away from it and in a routine I almost feel more at peace now than I did before. I’m more self compassionate about not having a solid plan with my career, and I’m figuring out who I want to be in my own time without comparing myself to others. You’ve got this, I can’t tell you how many people I know who had made plan “a” and ended up at plan “z.” You may have to juggle things a bit but we’re rooting for you! Allow yourself to feel what you feel, practice self compassion, and go towards any and all goals and you’ll be just fine! ❤️
stop apologizing for your study vids!! they're so relaxing and motivational... these are what I watch when i need to take a break from studying so that i'm still kind if staying on track lol
girl i feel you so hard!! im only in my sophomore year right now but thinking about the fact that i literally have no idea what i want to do with my life and with my major gives me the absolute highest anxiety. i feel like I've always had a pretty straightforward plan with what i wanted to do with my life up to this point but i honestly have no idea what i want to do with my major, or even if im going to keep my major!! im interested in it and i like what im learning but im interested in sooo many different things that my school offers that are not related in the slightest that i don't even know which one i want to pursue at this point. stay strong pretty girl, you are where you're supposed to be in life, and everything will fall into place :)

I love your videos ❤ Life is always crazy and has so many twists and turns that no one expects!! Everything eventually falls into place, it always does. It may not be exactly what you thought would happen or maybe thought you wanted to happen but life always keeps moving. You'll never be stuck in one place for to long! Just stay positive and try to always remember everything that is going right instead of wrong!
Adrienne, thank you for being so honest and real. I am in the same boat as a college senior and having no clue what to do with my life. It is nice to know that I am not alone in that. The "lost" feeling is temporary and we will make it through!
im supposed to be a junior in college, and i changed my major 7 times. I just today changed from business admin to marketing. Ive been in school for 3 years, and still don't have a 2 year degree (i will by 2020 the latest) then i transfer to get my bachelors. I am not on anyones schedule but my own and u should feel the sam. Im terrified also for the "real world". We will get thru it :)
Honestly just enjoy your final year!! Make the most of it and work your hardest and everything will fall into place! I graduated in July and literally all my friends (and I) are still a bit clueless as to what our plans are. I’m doing a masters which buys me a bit of time but don’t waste your final year worrying and stressing about post-graduation life! I know it’s easier said than done but cross that bridge when you come to it. If you don’t get a job immediately after you graduate or it takes a little while to decide what you want to do then that’s absolutely fine, there’s no rush or race! Enjoy being in your final year and look after yourself xxxxx

Don’t cry😢 it hurts my soul😂 and I get it. When you’re used to something it’s scary when it changes. When you have to rush to finish things before the deadline. But everyone feels that way once or twice in life there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s human nature💜 hope you’re better now

Your talk at the end is exactly how I felt before graduating! Like you said, school has been this cycle and I feel you! I graduated in May and I've been struggling to get a job and sometimes I wonder if what if I majored in was right for me. I have been so used to going to school that it feels weird being done with it, but hopefully things will come along :)

Oh adrienne youre not alone. Im a senior in college rn and im studying social work and im on the exact same boat as you dear. I love social work but it scares the living shit out of me because idk what to do with it and idk what im going to be doing this time of the yr for 2019. Just know youre not alone!!!! We got this!! I just discovered your channel, and I don't think the timing could have been better. I graduate THIS December, as in t-minus two months, and I feel so overwhelmed. I currently have an internship, but just got news that there might not be an open position once I graduate, which I read into as me not being good enough. It's refreshing to know that I'm not the only one feeling this way, and that some people are just better at hiding their emotions. You've just gained a new subscriber, wish you the best of luck !!

Hey AH, i was at your situation during my graduation but i figured out what i wanted to do with my life soon and i know you will too, i would advise you to be patient and always look out, be adventurous, try new things and talk to yourself honestly about what makes you happy. I am joining UNCC in spring for my masters and your videos have helped me get insight into the school and to help finalising UNCC for my masters studies. Your videos have also helping me be productive with my time management skills at work and study and to stay fit, so whatever you do, please keep up the videos even after you graduate!
I’m a freshman in college, in NC actually. I work in charlotte and my mom graduated from UNC Charlotte. I almost went there but chose Appalachian instead. You inspire me and motivate me to do so much more in college than I ever did in high school. Your videos are great and keep doing what you do!!
girl no worries!! i feel ya , i’m a senior and i being out of school does sound scary but so many options will hopefully come up. Hopefully you can get a job that you can balance because i do love your videos! but yeah try not to worry to much about the future (til about next semester). And always thank you for being real because I feel the same way. I’m thinking of continue to my Masters. Oh and maybe look into the Peace Core (it does not pay well but it allows you to work with the US government to help other country’s so travel and tons of life experiences). My dad did it in the 90s with a business aspect to help a south american country build their economy. Sounds hard but it was one of his best experiences. You are doing great so just look around and talk to others and see what future sounds best for you.
Hey girl! I totally feel you. I'm graduating in 3 years instead of 4 years and I was taking so many credit hours bc graduating early is what I thought I wanted to due. I realized soon it isn't what I want to do anymore so I am debating using my 4 years instead of 3 years.

I’m on track to graduate THIS December and I am a complete wreck!!! I’m not ready to adult yet and I have no plans for after graduation....I’m in a new internship placement and although I like it I’m not sure of it’s potential for after graduation. #scaries 💗
It is scary but you will be fine:) I felt the same. Now I have a job and some future plans, life keeps changing. Don't worry too much now and focuse on what you're doing now! You will figure it out for sure
I graduate college in December too, and i feel you girlfriend. I've been looking forward to it, but at the same time i'm actually terrified. By January-Feb, i should officially be an RN, its just a bit scary, but also exciting. I think there's such a pressure to feel like we have to have everything figured out by the mid twenties and honestly who really does? its so normal to feel lost at times, but everything happens for a reason and somehow things always fall into place.

Stop thinking of what you wanna do for your futur, take some time to think just about what you LOVE to do, it will help you so much, you have a full life ahead to live. I just turned 30, and found, a year ago, what I finally wanted to do of my life, and decided to go back full-time to distance school to get all my university grades. The time before was just experiencing different types of work, and not thinking about what my family would think about the choices I make. Take time to discover what you like, what you have talent in (making videos is part of it) and explore the whole world if necessary. You're young, and have all the time ahead to decide. PS: Your videos are watched even by french Canadian of 30 years old :P
Wow, i'm jealous! At my university we can't reserve rooms. And we can only use the rooms if we're doing a team project. :( I wish I was able to film at university, it's easier if you go to a room alone haha!
