One tip - significant pantry items should count towards the cost (the brown sugar) but condiments shouldn’t (the hot sauce) because theoretically you could pick up free packets somewhere.

Yeah see, the pantry freebies make it more expensive. Paprika, salt, pepper, vanilla, brown sugar and I don't know if the cooking spray was a freebie or not but I gotta admit, I don't regularly carry brown sugar or vanilla in my pantry, I only buy that if I know I'm gonna bake something with it. I know that in the states, vanilla isn't so expensive but here in Norway a bottle of 11 ml costs like 4-5 dollars. It does all look delicious though, nothing wrong with the food itself, its just a tiny bit misleading saying its 25 dollars I think.

I’m southern and I love helping my mom with deviled eggs and one of the tricks she taught me is to used a crinkle cut knife when cutting the eggs in half to give a little pizzazz
