If people come to my house for a party and I’m doing it on a budget I serve. Buffalo chicken legs and blue cheese dip Parmesan meatballs sliders Roasted red pepper and goat cheese pinwheels. Deviled eggs, Spinach dip Sliced bread Mango or pineapple salsa Corn chips In my line of work food cost is important so I look at sale prices through out the year and I use my freezer to store good buys. Chicken dumbstruck .70¢ a pound I get 5 pounds @ $3.50 Franks red hot from the dollar store $1, butter .20¢ of butter 1 cup Bottle Kraft blue cheese .50¢ $5.20 Meatball using ground beef and ground pork beef on sale less then $3 pork $1.5 herbs that I always have on hand finely chopped onions, carrots, celery about 3 cups worth $1 Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup Parmesan $1 Rolls I make myself using an Amish bread dough .30¢ $6.90 Roasted red pepper pinwheels I use flour tortillas two red bell peppers 4 oz of goat cheese mixed with 4 oz of cream cheese Tortilla $1 for, peppers $2, goat cheese $2.5, cream cheese .50¢ $6 Deviled eggs I do use mayo cream cheese makes them heavy I have tried. To make 3 dozen you only need 1.5 dozen eggs so it costs me $2.25 to make them Spinach dip is easy I make it two ways one inexpensive using a thick béchamel base and drained frozen spinach at a cost of $1.5 or a richer way using cream cheese for about $3.50 Bread $1 slice it thin use half a baguette $4.50 Mango salsa is easy1/2 pound of Roma tomatoes, onion, lime, cilantro, jalapeño, a mango $3 Chips $2 $5 Less than $30 for the food that people like a lot. When it comes to the alcohol I budget that on its own or have them bring it. I’ll buy mixers

Nobody wants a watered down cocktail ...puts a whole bottle of water in the cocktail.

Sooo Every person gets exactly 3 mushrooms (I counted, there’s 51, so that’s 3,4 per person), 2 eggs (there’s 34, 2,26 per person) and 2 or 3 pieces of those pesto rolls (44, which is 2,9 per person) Don’t forget the popcorn! You’re gonna leave this party so full. Also, one bottle is 66 ml of vodka per person) Enjoy!

Me: "$40 is 1 bottle of vodka"

Do NOT put a piping bag with metal tips in the microwave. Plastic tips maybe for short bursts but the piping bags are not made for a lot of heat and the plastic of the bag can warp and mix with the food if put in too long. Just be careful! :D

FYI,, when I make pin wheels, I pop them in the freezer just to tighten up the dough. Then when you cut them into sections, they hold the shape. Great video. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

"This was really the only meat we could afford." I can clearly see what i am confident is the kroger label on the mushrooms in the bag and the pillsbury label on the crescent dough. Kroger has crescent cough in their house brand last i checked. the price difference could've bought you some chicken most of the time. -edit- Also Kroger's brand has cherry lime for just a bit less than that 7up.

My favourite part was her saying that the drink won’t dilute because its not ice, and the she proceed to add a litre of water. I also liked when she got her friends to guess thinking they would he like “$100!?” and they both were like yeah we can tell it was cheap.

DON'T START WITH THE POPCORN. It's best eaten freshly cooked, and it gets "makunat" (idk, chewy? tough?) easily.

Here's a tip for the punch and ice ring. Freeze/refrigerate the vodka and refrigerate the club and cherry lime sodas so that they are already cold. Instead of using water in the mold for the ice, use some cherry lime soda so that the cocktail doesn't get watered down. I know the ice ring melts much slower, but the frozen soda will taste ten times better than the ice made from water. Also, freeze the cranberries before adding them to the liquid and then add some that aren't frozen and some that are just cold. They will float at different levels in the ring of ice and appear throughout. It will just make it look different.

The ice mold should be made with juice to not water it down
