Hello!! It’s pretty much easy. Go to Canva and search for RU-vid thumbnails. It’s will give you the perfect size for the thumbnail. Canva has plenty of templates but I like to make it from scratch. I add 4 screenshots from my vlog and write the title over it. That’s it.

So sorry to hear that you’re going through stressful times. Honestly, I can only give you a road map, but the only person that can motivate you to take a step is yourself. Just find your “Why”. Why do you want to study? How’s this gonna help you in your future? Just ask these questions to yourself and you’ll definitely feel motivated to take a step forward.
