I like that it's implied that out of the two siblings, Ylva was the one who inherited Thors' strength. Because seriously, girl can fucking LIFT for her age. 8I

The mom understands war, Ylva lost his father and little brother in one go

Favorite part is that it doesn't seem like he ever actually eats the wolf meat. He's like nah too gamey.

WIT IS THE GOAT for this episode

They literally threw him a bone. It seems petty and low now, but back then, that was an act of kindness after a fashion. These are the type of folks that have that "keep what you kill" mentality so they didn't owe him anything. They tossed him a tiny bit of meat and a bone out of respect for trying to be a man and warrior even though he's so young. You don't eat as well as the master, but if he likes you enough and you do well enough, you can get his leftovers. Thorfinn didn't want pity from people who murdered his father, though. And yeah, Thorfinn tried for the dagger throw, but you don't get to be as old as Askeladd and Bjornn without keeping a certain level of awareness at all times. Also, they really do a good job of making you like these folks more than you probably should. They rape, murder, pillage, and do it dirty with a smile on their face, but at the end of the day, they're a bunch of guys doing their trade to survive. Hard men aren't hard all the time. Hard men can have other sides to them shine through if the right opportunity presents itself.

They def do well with playing in the gray area. You wanna root for Thorfinn to get that W finally but also can't help but like Askeladd & Co. They really grow on you 🤣🤣🤣

Thorfinn starts to grow his claws this episode, cant wait for more the next couple episodes are amazing!

i dunno about yall, but I did not like these guys at all. still don't. there's no redemption for them I don't like vikings in general. They're a bunch of cowards who slaughtered and ***ed innocent people including children. They talk all that shit about honor and dying in battle, but they go in, slaughter and r*** a village, steal their stuff, and leave or get clapped by the soldiers who live in that country. I mean, they sucked...they were literally just pirates that spread like a cancer on the world. I suppose if you look hard enough, you'll find a good viking or two. But in the end, the only good vikings are the ones who don't come out of their holes.
