Now for someone like myself this is extremely easy solve Certain things you have to put into a memory tool box As one processes especially when you get into Trigonometry move advance Algebra and Geometry You are going to have a lot more Memory tools that have to be put in your math tool box

Some X notation had degree symbols signifying they were angles however the others did not - this might infer they were variables and not angles.

I have overcomplicated things quite a bit. I went for (x + 10) + (2x - 10) + 2x + x = 360 I was under the impression the corners should be specifically x + 10 and 2x -10. Why can I just "ignore" the parenthesis in this example? And when would it be wrong to do so? Thanks in advance.

I forgot the total interior angle sum of a quadrilateral... so I search the internet.... I find a diagram when a line is drawn between opposite corners to yield two triangles... I KNOW a triangle = 180°... so two is 360° easy peasy. given four interior angles: x+10 x 2x 2x-10 added together = 360° add up: x+10 x 2x 2x-10 ---------------- 6x + 0 = 360 x = 360/6 = 60° x+10 ==> 60+10 =70 x =60 2x ==> 2•60 =120 2x-10 == 120-10 =110 -------------------------------------- added = 360 ✔️

The angles are 60degree 70 degrees 110 and 120 degrees respectfully

I am 69 y.o. with a degree in mechanical engineering. I could do this in my head. Not sure what the intent is here. But is this the best use of your time? Maybe you are trying to thread the needle between those that know nothing and those with a lot of math under their belt, but seems as though, you could choose examples less elementary to teach students on the internet. Only a suggestion. No doubt you are trying to inform the public about math which guys like me love but seems like better examples could be put forward a bit less primitive.

For people like yourself and myself this is Really basic stuff But for many they don’t have clue so this is going to be extremely changing Myself compared to you I Am a blind Monkey ..I only had 4 semesters of Calculus and one year of Calculus base Physics You are an Mechanical Engineer most likely you have a masters Degree
