"To BW, BM are disposable. We are not considered men unless we're in service to BW and Black children." -BGS IMBOR Spot on analysis regarding Deion Sanders.
Master Yao's teachings are profound and uprooted from the Zeitgeist of the US. He formed his perspective while traveling, and interloping with cultures around the globe, outside of the Western context. Master Morris also was a high earner within the context of the United States... He's unburdened by the things that many of us filter our existence through.
You're absolutely right. We have a real Jealousy problem. If you really want to help The "Comunitaa", especially in a big way, and preserve yourself, you almost have to do it behind a veil. If you can set aside your ego and forgo Public Adulation, that's probably the best way. Superb commentary.
That is the most important gem I've taken during my time in the manosphere. 1) As you always say "what's in it for me". Make sure you ask this from any and every interaction. 2)And you (the man) determine your own value for yourself. Bless bless bless. Gems.
The BM was deceived into servitude to the BW through guilt and ignorance, which was also forced upon the BM. If the BM was first captive to the dominant society, it makes sense that through time and age, he would eventually become captive to BW. The system is working according to plan..
I think the whole Ed Reed thing was kinda the same. Those schools just want to use BM because you’re a black high profile person. But they really don’t appreciate them as BM first. Now I understand why he went off. He was worth more to himself…
Listening to you BGS sometimes it hurts. It hurts so bad. But we men need this. And my hope is that yours and other's message is heard by the masses of black men. Because it's needed. It has been needed for decades. I hope black men listen, take hold of the messages, and act accordingly. Gosh I wish you and others like you were around 30yrs ago but thank God you're here nonetheless. Thank you BGS...
Indeed... I found Master Yao through Rom Wills, the Cousin T through Rom... Cousin T recommended a BGS video about valuing your light and how rare life is... I've been here ever since then...
I am now 60+. When I first heard you the principles and the philosophies were in short ...Awe inspiring. This is what the entire system has missed. Black Men are now determining their own value! Brilliant!
Off topic BGS but are your familiar with hermeticism? I know you’re a Gnostic and the two practices are similar. I’m a agnostic with interest in hermeticism. Found it very interesting and currently doing readings on it.
There's an old episode of Star Trek where they went to this almost African planet and by the end of the episode the women made the two men that was trying to fight to be her husband she took on both of them as her husband's.
I truly respect Master yao, but he mustve been familiar with the "Why can't blacks get it together?" argument for a long time. In a nutshell, it's conditioning. Some black men break out of it and most stay in it. And as far as defining ourselves, look at who western black men have the deepest respect for in the modern era. Even though it's through Hip Hop, I would argue Tupac Shakur is the most respected black man in terms of his messages to the every day modern black man. He gave and still gives a big clue who we are. As Pac said in one interview: "We were asking with the civil rights movement. Those people who were asking were dead or in jail. What do you think we gonna do? Ask??"
