Post any questions you have for me down here and I'll get around to answering them! but first let me answer some common questions to save you time "what do you animate in?" Source Filmmaker "why did you animate a 5 minute video just to say hi?" because I wanted to, and also I could "why did you steal the medic's legs?" I'm simply borrowing them, I will return them promise
Loved the format! Must be a time consuming task for sure, but it adds that little personal something in my opinion. As for an actual question (and forgive me if this has been asked before) what is the best piece of advice you can give to aspiring animators?
I got 3 questions! 1. Will the new SorceTail sucsessor be an original series, or will it continue to use pre-established characters? 2. Along with that, what plans do you have for an original series on this channel? 3. Do you think you will ever have the time, motivation, and budget to make turning your fake Tf2 Movie trailer into a real movie?
Could you consider/have you considered making a full length movie off of the team fortress 2 trailer you made 11 months ago? From your animation skills I think you could do a really god job at it and to make it a bit easier on yourself, you can try to make it in parts so that you can then have time between each part to figure out how the parts can align with each other. Love ur vids, keep up the great work! 😁
i really really like this format and all the stuff you have made, im currently in a STAGE 7 AUTISM EVENT where i've rewatched the majority of your content at least twice but the stuff within the last year is my favorite :D
Out of all the videos you have made which one was the most enjoyable to make and what video do you enjoy looking back at the most? (if you watch your own videos from the past that is)
This is very good, 1 Critique I'd give is a better mic and pop filter. I've been a huge fan of your for years over a decade and to be honest I miss your animated vids
yo yo, I'll answer this in the video too, but wanna point out the mic I'm using here is literally the built-in valve index mic haha, I really should get something better or with a pop filter
@@Anomidae DUUUUDE, that was a quick response! Seriously though, your content was the BEST TF2 vids and I know you want to get more personal characters and stuff so I'm looking forward to it all! Break a leg man!
Excited to see some new stuff! My Q&A question is what got you into the Source Engine? Was it just SFM or by playing Source games like HL2, Portal, TF2, etc?
Question for the QnA: What genre of music do you enjoy listening to the most? Also FUCK YEAH I love this format! 3D animations of oneself are super fascinating to me. I'm already subbed but if I were a newcomer I would definitely subscribe to you for this! And also i dont use the like button at all anymore, so... rip
That format is cool, it does push me to subscribe and like the video. I mean I was already subscribed and had already liked before the question but that's besides the point (the point is please do more, they're fun). Question : What are your animation habits? by that I mean I feel like your content is very "smooth" and "bouncy" compared to other creators, how do you achieve that? Also what's your process behind creating an animation? Do you start with an idea and try to reach it with sketches and drafts or do you mess around with models and props until something comes along? Or something else really the question isn't limited to those 2 options lol. Anyway keep it up ! Love your work
Hey! Great to see you're still posting content! I was really quite surprised to see you using mocap to animate your avatar, as I bought a rokoko smart suit pro II, and I am waiting for it to be delivered. Out of curiosity, are you planning to use mocap in your sfm/s2fm animations? And if so, do you think it boosts your productivity?
for aspiring animators, what programs would you recommend we learn to use? Can be any one, 2D or 3D I personally got my ambitions to learn animation from 2D flash animations as well as various SFM creators like yourself Btw the mocap studio thing kicks ass, you should definitely do it more
man, i am you are back. So... question here, are you going to keep animating on SFM? If no, what would you use instead? Is Sourcetales over for realsies?
How to keep momentum with long projects? Do S2FM still lack lightwarps? last i've check was during HL:A launch. (What about new shader?) Aside from graphical advancement and easier pipeline to port to S2FM, what makes it worth switching to? - From animating point of view. And props on Ape Escape OST. --I recall participating in the monochrome collab and my entry was low effort that made me question why did I participated in the first place. But it seems like video removed-- 😔
