A Quiet Place: Day One Out of the Theater Reaction 

I cried soooo hard. The actors were amazing, the cinematography, no cheap jump scares!

That ending shot is one of the best endings I’ve ever seen in a movie period.

Any sound in the theatre makes everyone goes 😮 you got that right. One person in my row drop his phone & my heart was jumping. Even a creack sound of another audience fixing their position can become a jumpscare

Bruh I’m so jealous of you saying that every little sound in the theater was intense, since I heard constant house music from the bar next to my theater. That really ruined my experience…

Loved what Sarnoski did with Pig, very pleased with Day One

This 3rd Quiet Place installment was the worst of the three. It was a good movie, but didn't really explore much with the monsters. That being said it's still a good suspenseful movie.

I thought the setting really took away. I can count on 20 hands how many times Ive watched the world end through the eyes of New York. I think that is why the first 2 are more thrilling to me. The lack of people and monsters make every encounter all the more terrifying.

Gawd this movie was so emotional and somber in the best ways its probably my movie of the year such a great spin on this type of genre

This movie sucked

This wasn't really a horror movie. The theater website said drama. And It felt alot longer than an hour 40. Maybe it was just the no talking throughout but the story kinda dragged on too. And a random scene kinda killed the serious vibe

i personally wanted more lore and grander story. i found the characters a bit uninteresting, it felt like just a rehash of things we've seen before but with two individuals instead of a family.

There was definitely a lot to be loved about the movie, but overall I was rather disappointed with it. It just wasn’t doing it for me personally. But I’m glad everyone else seems to be enjoying it!

This is the only time I’ve completely disagreed with Sean about a movie. I thought it was horrible. Absolutely no reason to care about either character. I don’t care about her survival because she doesn’t even care about it herself. He had like 10 lines the entire movie. It’s very easy to just walk a few blocks without making noise, but someone keeps randomly knocking something over and now we’re running again. The entire plot is “pizza,” so I don’t care about the mission whatsoever, and then we randomly see a boat in the last 10 minutes, and we change the goal of the movie right at the end. His character never even indicated that he wanted to escape before this, but we need to wrap the movie up somehow. The movie never gives you a reason to care about anything.

I liked the characters but I felt like there wasn't enough horror/thriller elements.

I thought it was a great quiet place film! An awful day one apocalypse film though, all the characters knew how the world worked IMMEDIATELY! Also the main character is knocked unconscious during the initial invasion There was nothing day one about this movie

I'm glad I got to see this film on opening night A- in my opinion My review: While it may not have a well-paced story of the previous installments, Day One succeeds in having good tension, jump scares, and an emotional compelling performance by Lupita Nyong'o.

Watched it yesterday in the cinema , i don't really care about the connections and this stuff , the movie is definitely awesome that it might make you shit yourself , i stayed quiet the whole movie out of fear ✌

Everyone is saying how bad it is and couldnt live up to the previous two movies. But its actually great to know about your review for the movie. That is how i think of it as well. its a different take on the same alien invaded world, where two souls are trying to find a momentary connection midst of this chaos. The cat had to be one of the main character in the movie, everytime the camera lingered on the cat, it made me think its gonna meow, and that had me on the edge of the seat!
