I drove a Motorcoach for years on tours and ski trips Dave sounds like me, some of the same things. One tour for 3 weeks college students music department. One day they trashed the bus out and I stopped at rest area and told them clean the bus up witch had trash bags at every othe seat down the isle, but they wouldn't use them just threw it on the floor. Refused to move the bus till it was clean and let them know we would be late to next show if bus wasn't clean in 30 min. they thought I was kidding till I shut the bus off and started walking down the highway in front of the bus NO more air condition and we were in Texas by Tyler. I knew that there was a truck stop next exit and was heading for it when 2 guys came running up and told me they were cleaning up the bus and PLEASE come back and put tje AC back on. Bus was keep clean from that day on, leaders of the group made sure every day that the trash was picked up and every night I would sweep and mopped the floors. Next day everyone apologized and respect was given in both directions.
Beautiful relationship. Despite the difference of opinion, y'all still respect each other's individual god-given (natural) rights, freedoms, and civil liberties. Though, I wonder what word Kenny G. said that compelled Dave to kick him out. Seems a bit extreme unless Kenny G. was treating Dave badly. Nonetheless, the Constitution does remind us about freedom of association, which means we also have the freedom NOT to associate with others. Yes, there's freedom of speech, but there isn't a freedom for an individual to force other individuals to listen to his or her speech.
There's also a clip where Gabriel talks about when they went to Mexico or someplace near there and got stopped by border patrol. They were all lined up along the side of the bus. Dave took that picture. Then someone took a picture of Dave leaning against the bus. Only picture I've ever seen of him. Yep. Looks just like "murica".
I love this bro, I love the generosity in your words in describing Dave, you have a true friend there, I think above all he just wants respect, honesty and to be paid what he’s owed and that’s enough where he’s concerned, you get that right (which you clearly have) and you’ve got a friend for life who’ll walk over broken glass/hot ashes for you!! It would appear there's way too many comedians on that bus. Lol Dave reminds me of a radio personality from Marion Ohio. He says America the same way. I've already forgotten his name but he ends his show with, a real Murican. LOL
