I also noticed a huge FPS drop when season 3 released. Benchmark went from 122 to 143 fps doing this with the same graphic settings. I noticed on the performance summary that my CPU values are almost identical but me GPU changed. Going from a bottleneck ratio of 14 CPU / 86 GPU to 66 / 34 Really weird how they manage to mess up optimization with every update ...

I hope thats not 1-2 test with a change in between because many programs & games start/run faster after the 2nd -3rd time when the temp files are already loaded.

The Frame Rate increase that I got actually surprised me!! This week I'm going to download the game to my older streaming PC and see if I can't find a way to make this game run better for players on lower to med PCs. I'll spend a few days messing with all the advanced settings, hopefully I can find some solution. This didnt really work for me. I uninstalled the whole game then all of the files even recycle bin and re installed i just re did my settings and dont have it set to ultra or high pretty medium and im still getting the same frames. I went from having 165+ to 110 if im lucky ever since this update.

My codhq files are older not newer. I may just remove them and see if it does anything.

I´ve tried deleting just the cod configs folder but it stills runs the same for me. Stutters still there and is just anoyng how shitty the game runs. Still thak you for your work mate!

If you Uninstaller cod and reinstall you will only have one game file btw.

based on seeing this video i did reinstall my game yet copied my old settings, and see a 15-25 fps increase on averaage feels like. to be clear: I deleted my activision files in %appdata% roaming/local, deleted the documents call of duty folder, and deleted its game folder. I hit uninstall from battlenet before doing all this ofc. When i installed, I only chose Multiplayer/Warzone. No coop or campaign.

I have tried every possible things but I couldn’t reach more than 160 avg fps in wz. Changing quality to low or high doesn’t change anything for me. Even with dlss I get lower fps. My specs are 4080 7700x and 32 gb 6000mhz rams. This game is pretty bad optimized. I will try this soon, thank you so much for the video.

So after I do a fresh install my game runs close to perfect. After about 1 hour into gaming or about my 4th game it starts to shutter and hitch and my hit markers aren’t hitting and I lose aim assist! Does anyone know why this could be happening! I also notice my textures getting worse as I play

Alternatively you can just delete the “hq” files and leave the others and not have to worry about changing all your settings back to what they were. OR…copy your options.3.cod22 file somewhere, then delete “players” and then start the game, exit the game, then copy it back, overwriting the newly created one.

I wish it was this easy. Uninstalled the entire game. Deleted EVERY Call of Duty related folder on my PC and reinstalled. No change. smh Ever since Season 3 reloaded, I went from 145-160 fps to 98 capped. And it game it dips down to like 75. This game is terribly optimized. Appreciate the video and tips though. I seemed to have all settings to very low and low, i have 9900k & 2080 super, i am getting 60 fps in warzone ranked, but in multiplayer modes fps is over 170+ ,cant seem to understand what's the issue, can anyone help? Pc specs I7 9700k 32gb vengeance ram 2666 oc to 3200 3060ti Z390 WarOne render worker set to 4. I tried from 1 to 8 and 4 or 5 was most stable

i did delete players and remove it from recycle and when i restart the game i got the hq removed instead of cp22 , and i silo have the same fps(30-40 ) and to anyone complaining about performance and they are hitting 60+ fps, stop it get some help

this did the complete opposite for some reason. all video settings are the same from before deleting the entire settings folder and after generating a new config file. OLD CONFIG FILE - AVG 132.0 FPS / MIN 116.5 FPS / MAX 148.0 FPS / 1% 80.9 FPS / 0.1% 53.0 FPS NEW CONFIG FILE - AVG 118.9 FPS / MIN 106.1 FPS / MAX 137.2 FPS / 1% 75.7 FPS / 0.1% 53.6 FPS NEW CONFIG FILE + WORKERCOUNT FIX - AVG 125.5 FPS / MIN 96.7 FPS / MAX 145.0 FPS / 1% 73.0 FPS / 0.1% 54.3 FPS this was tested in WZ2 in Plunder matches. I dropped to the same location every single time (near Al-Mazrah City by the river near the train tracks) and did a routine pattern of movement and actions (looting an entire building then proceeding to Hydroelectric) to replicate all scenarios between configurations. after all testing from above, I put back my old config files and performance was back. super weird PC specs are 5600X PBO 4.75 + 5700XT + 32GB DDR4 3600 CL13

Hello, unfortunately, it didn't help me, the results before and after were the same, I even noted a drop in fps by 3. My equipment. AMD Ryzen 5 2600x 16gb ram 3200mhz RTX 2060oc 6gb My result is 136 fps on benchmark. Yes, I know... Old gear.

You want your Bottleneck to be 99% on the gpu and 1%cpu. It will lower latency and make the feel more responsive

Tried this and didn't help. Still about 50fps lower in warzone than I was before season 3 reloaded. Game seems to get worse with every season update. Garbage devs.
