It's good to see Nidhi back in action. Miss her at LRC on NDTV. As for Shashi, he has been my contemporary from student days in both Calcutta and Delhi - he has always been extremely articulate and bright. I wonder as a politician how much difference he is able to make to both his muddled up party and the Indian polity at large.
@@Dogmatix-24 truth is bitter. She is pathetic. As a journalist who is supposed to triple check sources and proofs.. claiming to get scammed. lol. Fake news peddler got a taste of her own medicine
Thank you Dr Tharoor for your bold and honest answers. This particular characteristic of yours makes you so different from other MPs and revered by people who really want a change for better governance of the country and the people.
I watched his story of childhood & how he became he was today more than a hundred times, never get bored. You are the most desirable man any parents want to have.
Court already proved his innocent about his wife's death, how can one know he is fine with that. It's over exasperating that media and news channels act like special juries and adjudicate the verdict in their news office like CJI & the advocate of SC. It's not only about this case, I have seen many such instances in the past.
His mesmerizing presence always happen to lit the stage....What else cud prove more inviting than to listen to him n that to about his childhood crush....Reading...Reading n Reading only, what he keeps suggesting to his listeners n fans, who want to acquire linguistic prowess like him. His sight even is enough to fall in love with him for a lifetime.❤
I remember Shashi Tharoor from school..he was in St.Xavier Kolkata..and remember his writings in junior statesman..he was such a great debater even then..when he speaks..it is like a classical raga unfolding..specially that talk at Edinburgh university
I can listen endlessly to all interviews of Shashi Tharoor he is a genius 👍❤️ but today I was happy to see Nidhi, taking interview, I miss her at ndtv 💕
Nidhi.. welcome back. ST was as always articulative. (y), executive, legislative and judiciary with its own authority and dialog with public can bring change, I personally believe that this is what we need to educate out younger friends across this country. I totally buy this idea.
@Nisha chambiyal He has been vindicated by the supreme court. He killed no one and having had a pakistani girlfriend is not a criteria that disqualifies anyone from being a PM candidate. The only narcissist you should be concerned about is the one currently in office; hasn't given a single press meeting, was blacklisted by several countries in the world for his involvement in the incitement of riots in Gujarat, is a member of the RSS, makes horrible economic decisions at a whim without consultation, mishandled and made a total mess out of the pandemic and if you're so bothered by someone being moved by flattery then do first consider all the scripted interviews where Modi hasn't been questioned or critiqued for any of his government's failures. As for hair, more taxpayer money has gone into beard oil and his many foreign trips than anyone else in the opposition.
@@abelpeter9658 he was lucky to have survived for lack of evidences ... But the cctv being switched off at the right time is to mysterious to believe .... In a five star rated hotel.
@@abelpeter9658 finally it is left to common sense .... One could think of the Aarushi talwar case .... Many such cases where courts due to lack of evidence wrap up the case.
Brought good memories from my childhood. I used to devour all Enid Blyton. Biggles, Billy Bunter, Hardy boys and Nancy Drew books. Then I graduated to other books. I guess the absence of Cell phones. Internet and fewer channels on TV had something to do with that. Also TV came to most of Indian cities only in 1980s. Before that for a long time TV was only in 4 metropolitan cities and Hyderabad.
Very true more than 4 decades back Enid blytons Adventurers of the wishing chair got me fascinated with her books and Hardy boys was my favourite then in 8th standard started James Hardly Chase, Ian Fleming, Alistair McLean and others those were the most memorable and wonderful days , now the children are very sadly missing out on all those, used to finish those books in a day or two, it was so engrossing.
@@Suresh_Kamath Alistair McLean novels were thrilling even movies especially Where Eagles Dare, also commando and wild western comics were a craze back then.
He won't get elected as a prime Minister. Firstly because a common man needs a charismatic personality not an Oxford English dictionary. Secondly, he can't speak hindi very well, so it will be difficult for him to woo people from hindi belt.
@@arshunofficial9554 well yes he's better in English but if the criteria for become prime minister is just to be able to sign that is is dictionary in himself and secondly he is most educated politician very well read among all leaders and a man with this much readings doesn't looks good in congress he can start his own...
Good to have Nidhi back in India. Although not in NDTV she should start her own digital platform or come as an anchor to moderate interviews of intellectuals, politician , game changers and high achievers .
I always had a thought that he is Asthmatic, this is the first interview of his where I heard a confirmation of my thoughts. If you carefully listen to his English accent, he has a "puffy" end to every word he speaks, which dramatically articulates his accent even more. People who know the great Bengali actor "Chabi Biswas", would know that Biswas too was super Asthmatic; and in many ways Tharoor sounds quite like Biswas ...
Many thanks Dr. Shashi Tharoor and GITAM for this wonderful, intellectual conversational event. In my sincere conscience I believe you are a living inspirational intellect and visionary for all ages in India. Honestly want to see you manage and administer at the top level, India need people like you to lead in many areas today. That would be a certain sign of progressive India.
Wishing Tahroorji and his family a very joyous, healthy, safe, and a happening new year. Hope all your wishes, your aspirations see the light of the day in 2022. God bless🌹🌷🌺🌸💕💕💕
The interview was arguably awfy.... Could I request the supremacy to forecast the interview with its English subtitles for which it could facilitate all the other people to understand efficiently... Especially For those who come to learn Tharoorian Vocabulary ...ITS A HUMBLE REQUEST, HOPEFULLY IT WOULD BE UPHELD🙏🙏🙏
Are you trying to sound intelligent?😄Because your comment is a horrible abuse of the English language! Tharoor is just speaking plain/simple English. Just for instance, uphold P.T. is upheld, not upholded.
Thank you Dr. Shahsi Tharoor to be honest. I hope the audience will get the passion for India as you have. We need lots and lots of people like you in our country. Best wishes to you and to our nation.
Voting for idiot who is uneducated would be better I think. This person has awed the English at Oxford university That takes some doing Not many Indians can do this. We should be celebrate this Fact. Trust me the English do Not take us seriously. They take Shashi very seriously He is like a champion Boxer. When he enters the ring All the others get knocked out It is like that he is that awesome. Watch the Oxford debate again. At Oxford university
@Nisha chambiyal Seems you never read his books which is mostly about International Affairs and Indian and international politics. Really easy to do the name-calling people on the internet.
He seems to take retirement from congress since he may not get leadership role in congress anyhow! He has plenty of time to spend on writing, it is good he can make use of his vast and expendable knowledge in good use in positive enlightenment, instead of misleading general population.
so here we have the one of the stalwarts of liberalistic values in the country advocating the use of the adjective attractive to women and muscular to men and then laughing it off on being told he'd get into trouble for that comment.
I dont understand why so much credit n emphasis is given on Speech and way of speaking...wat matters most are your actions, your ideologies , thought process and how you are as a human being and how much you turn your words into action. Anyone can talk loud and big , but action speaks louder than words. While its true that he is articulative n good speaker but dont judge him merely by that . Stop glorifying .
I have a question Shashi Tharoor sir, u r Feminist. Feminism is all about equality. Then when they r not vocal about 80% fake r.pe case against men? Or the misuse of privilege law for women? And why most feminist call men group as sexist? And also protest against men right group? Is there any negative side of feminism, because many ideology have bad side in it. Do u think feminism also have it? Could you please answer my question or make a video about your views on it.
Rani Krishna - Feminism as in equality of gender representation in every aspect that governs human life is bad. Feminism as in equality of opportunity is good. However, equality of opportunity by itself is not an idea advanced by feminists. That has been around for ages. Unfortunately, the feminism that we see around us today is equality on the basis of gender representation. That is absolutely negative. An example would be, in the United States, a survey was conducted a few years ago among college students to see who they supported as their presidential candidate. Some said, Hillary Clinton. Some said, Donald Trump. That’s fine. However, when Hillary supporters were asked why they supported her, some of them said things like, “We have never had a woman as our president”, “I think it would be cool to have a woman as our president”. This is where feminism destroys itself. A candidate that is elected to lead must be elected on the basis of competence, not because the candidate is a woman. There are other examples too. If you are interested to know more on feminism, you can look into Professor Jordan Peterson’s views on feminism. He is, as of today, the most popular clinical psychologist in the world. He works in the University of Toronto. Now, he has his own RU-vid channel with over 4 million subscribers. He is from Canada.
That is expected - She wanted to put Sashi in high pedestal as in recent days Sashi's Popularity is diminishing after Sept 2021 debate with J Said Deepak an November 2021 debate with Vikram Sampath
Nidhi Razdaan must be feeling great with the vicinity of Sashi Taroor who is happens to be very much at ease with journalist of particular kind. Sashi was telling too any times " I " " Me" .. That shows he is in self advisement mission here after two debacle debate from ser 2021 to deemebr 2021 - I presume this video is in Decmebr 2021
@Nisha chambiyal ,what do say, doesn't make any sense ? The only thing, Nidhi is not anchoring here as an journalist, she is not a journalist now. This platform was not political, it was an institute. You must study the words "difference". Finally, NDTV won "Ramon Magsaysay" award and best TV channel of journalism not fake TRP. It is not govt chatukar
Miss having Sai Deepak to pull his pants down for some shame shame ! I heard Shashi is still under recovery ❤️🩹 from last rendezvous with Sai Deepak 🤣
