I keep mine on a cabinet across the other end of the room and you can hear the whirr of the drums rolling every time it hits the hour marker which is quite handy for knowing when you are on the hour.

Do you know the model of the movement they use? Also how’s the quality? Does it hold up for 2 years? Thanks

I do not know the movement model. But I can confirm it still runs to this day, all functions work, and it is accurate.
