I like the retro. This shoe from He Got Game and the Air Uptempos from Encino Man both stuck out to me throughout my life. I ended up picking up both and now I feel I got a nice piece of nostalgia back. The Jordan 13 he got game and black cat are my only Jordan shoes. Cool video!

By far my favorite pick up this year among 2018 releases! Quality is so on point. So comfortable, too. The 13 is my favorite Jordan model, and JB just hit this one, along with the Brave Blues and Chutneys, out of the park!

JB definitely nailed this retro for sure!! One of the easiest cops because continuity was A1. My only wish as an old head is to get the same continuity for other retro Jordan releases! Great vid love the original shoe comparison!

JB did a great job with these. I still have my 2013 pair and these look way better. My only complaint about the 2013 pair is that they’re bigger, like the overall look of the shoe is bigger.

After seeing this review I feel that the 2013 pairs are truer to the OGs than the 2018s based on the outsole color and the color between the herringbone. I wish I had some OGs and the CDP pair to compare to. Either way I love the 13's and cop em every time.

Dang dude... You got a good pair... I tried on one in store and even the paint on the outsole coming up onto the sides was really weirdly fraying and rubbery. I took a look at both shoes and they just weren't really up to any sort of standard. I passed. The 13s, in recent years, have definitely become one of my top three jordans (along with the 4s and the 1s)

When 13's have a different color for the upper and tongue they tend to pop more in my mind... in a good way

Great video, I'm subscribing! I still have my OG's. Except mine are beat because I used to wear them every day. One thing I noticed that is different Is the green logo on the bottom. on the OG's it was a hard plastic and on the 2018's it's more like an air bubble kind of thing. I wear on my shoes and I feel like this new bubble is very close to touching the ground to the point it's going to scuff up. I prefer the OG style. Did you notice the detail.

As far as discounts, I have some interesting stories LOL the house of hoops at Mall of America is very stingy with them. I tried to use a VIP coupon on the MPLS Kobe Protro (which is still sitting in their store after weeks) and they told me I couldn't because it was a "QS". It is not a quick strike. There is no QS on the box (I bought the shoes anyway) and they did not get a limited quantity of the shoe. They also don't let you use them on Jordans on release days, unless they unequivocally know that the shoe is not going to sell out.

You now what. I noted is the tongue is the same on the original. And the 2018 reto and the 2020 flint reto has that long tongue which makes the 13s look like banana's

back in the days all AJ creased and deformed at the toe-box and we did not care because they were comfortable af. These days in order to please the crowd (or maybe to protect the actual toes?) they made the toe-box stiffer with stiffer leather/synthetic. anyway, i didn't even expect i would get a pair of the 2018 because i've not bought retro since the 72-10, but walked into the mall and just impulse bought it. haven't even tried it on. i just remembered how my OG was plush and make your feet look super fat in high school and i played in them till the outsole was completely flat.

The Jumpman on the OG is definitely better than the retro but I'm not too picky about that part of the shoe, outside of that and the red on the bottom they are nearly identical
