I feel like they did a poor job if they're calling the 2016 remastered. The collar and the toe are still off. I really love the 94 pairs. The shape. Quality. Thinner elephant print. That's what I'm holding out hope for.

Great review and I pick up my 2016's sporting my 2011 releases. There is definitely a big difference in the shoe and glad I was able to use my military discount for these. We pretty much paid the for the Nike logo on the back but I love True Blues and had to cop

Went down the rabbit hole on your channel today while I was just veggies and decompressing. I spent some time on this video cuz I'm actually restoring both the '11s and the '16s. Aside from the tongue leather, the tumbled leather is p,use on the 11s after break in. The shade of blue is more OGish on the 16 and I confirmed it when busting outta Angelus tru blue paint. Main points for me is the quality poly insole for the 11 vs the cheap ortho on the 16. Also, I don't remember the 16 coming with the pamphlet detail ing tech specs. At least I didn't get it. Honestly, I like wearing the 11 so much more than the 16. I use its insole for the 16. I'm a 10.5 but both are in 10 cuz thats what I could get my hands on in '11 and stuck with it again. The 11 fits great. Anyways, have a great weekend. PS I've been wearing the infrared 36 since getting them last Thursday. I love em. Only have the 2 bulls cw's and am thinking about doubling up on both now.

2016 pair is sitting like crazy. They still available online almost a week later. Glad i could cop a pair easily tho, despite being disappointed with the quality for being a remastered OG shoe that costs $220.

You are right bro about the true to size for the 2001 and 2011 but then the 2016 like you said is kind of small for my size which Iam 9 it feels like 8.5

I don't mind the red tung but prefer the blue one, the Nike on the back is cool but I had a pair of 2001's as a kid so it means more to me with the jumpman. Anyways great review as always 👍🏼

Great comparison, you forgot to mention that the medial side of the shoe on the 2001's has the true blue painted on the entire midsole, whereas the 2011's and 2016's are only half way.

picked up a size 10 pair... Fits a bit tight and couldn't return them so now I have to wear them without insoles. Should've gotten 10.5

I remember like it was yesterday when Nike re-released the cement 3s back in the summer of of '94 , but I didn't know that they re- released the shoes back in 2001 and in 2011.

I do NOT like this being the final product of such a historic shoe, the 3 changed so much and I just think they really missed it man. and then 220?! c'mon son, I like the nike air but that's about it, I'll keep my crisp 2011 pair on deck. Just my opinion, great video though with extensive detail. Enjoy them!

Got mine for 190. Love the true blue. The only thing that I disliked was the type of leather they used. Everything else was fine to me

Finally they change the jumpman stitch back to OG flat style, you can also find it on the space jam 11s which drops on Dec 10....

wish the 2016 true blue color went all the way through on the medial side instead of stopping halfway. If anything Jordan brand should of gave us something close to the 2001 pair. Great comparison vid tho!

Dope collection my dude, I must admit I passed!!!! not 100% why, but I guess I felt I would be able to pick up at a latter date, as the kics are alllll over lol, and in most cases , full size run.

Having had the 2001 and 2011 previously, I am going to pick the 2016 version. Jordan brand put the Nike back on the shoes which is the first time since the original release . I am perfectly happy with the pair which was well executed in my opinion. I feel that people have better things to do than nit pick .

could be because the insole of the 16' version is thick, which is why they run a bit tight. sort of had an issue with that as well therefore i just wear thin socks or maybe take the sole out

The 2009 pair is different on the outsole of the True Blue area.

2011's didnt have good cushioning in the ankles like 01 and 16's I noticed.

I found the sizing to be snug but once you wear them the leather broke in just fine. You should stick to your TTS if you plan on wearing them and not storing them.

Cool video man. I've got the 2011's and like them best. I think it's kind of a dick move to reserve multiple pairs, even if you only grab one. Someone else wants them and has to wait a day or so until the store sees its unclaimed. Just my two cents.

I never owned the 2001, but I've had the other 3, and hands down the 2009 were the best. the leather was super plush and soft. the 2011 felt the most plastic-ish. the 2016 quality was decent the the construction was awful. I had to return it twice. the first the get a half size bigger. the second cause the tongue shape of super messed up on one shoe. the 2016 however was much better than the nike air cement 3s. tthos were the worst.

I've been hearing about the sizing differences between the 2016s and older 3's. Could this be due to the thicker orhtolite insole in the 2016's as opposed to the older models?
