I came to this video looking for better than dragon shield, I listened to others, and I have bought 3 or 4 packs of dragon shield, and they have all split on the first shuffle. I don't jam them in there and even recently have gone far overboard but watching this video and how he was shuffling was how I initially did... Dragon shields are garbage and I won't buy anymore.

Hierarch Artanis have your tried Ultra Pro Eclipse Sleeves? I find that these are my favored sleeve, the only downside is that they dull the shine of foils.

Katana sleeves ARE AMAZING. I use them almost daily...holding up well and super fun to shuffle

Katana sleeves are amazing they are the only sleeves I've found so far that I can shuffle without dropping due to my clumsiness

In my opinion as I've used them all. Katana sleeves are extremely durable and aesthetically pleasing because of the opaque back and vibrant front. They don't scratch easily nor form dents and my cards feel super secure in them to the point that you could probably throw them. However, for me there is on huge setback that professor didn't talk about. I bought them and sleeved my deck to use same day and oh my gosh because of how smooth they are which does make for great shuffle feel, they slide all over the place like a lot a lot. My deck fell twice while on my mat and again while shuffling as they are very slick. I haven't played with them enough yet to have gotten past that phase my lgs guy says it definitely wears down to reasonable. Finally, they have exactly 100 sleeves which means if there's a problem with a single one of them....it doesn't matter, you have to use it As for Eclipse sleeves, they are personally my favorite especially now that they sell 100 packs. I feel most in control when shuffling them, i like that they give you 4 to 6 over 100 in each pack in case splitting does occur, I like the opaqueness and even frosted look. Though I've heard from other reviews, their fronts are super scratched, that was never a problem for me. The one major downside for me is card color selection in comparison to dragon shields and the fact that I have noticed minor splitting however all of those were from when they made 80 pack sleeves and have never had that happen in my 100 packs. They stay quite sturdy. Finally as for Dragon shield, I dislike them the most in my personal preference. Aesthetically I find them to look kinda cheap and off with their non opaque backs plus my FNM doesn't really let you use them due to that. Also the shuffle feel always comes off feeling incredibly off to me as it catches and also the different texture on the back makes for an odd feeling imo. Also, my cards don't seem to fit as snuggly or secure as in the other two. These are just my own personal opinions after using every type of these. As for corners and crease, eclipse can if you shuffle too hard over a long long period of time but i still have some from when they originally came out looking great, katanas are too new for me to give that info but seem durable enough, dragon shields have mild creasing in corners

I prefer Eclipse due to it’s great matte feel on both sides since I’m not a fan of a glossy surface and very great shuffle feel.

Of these three, which ones are the most shufflable?

Maybe Prof will do a "Best of the Best" video, but something tells me as long as its an A grade its really just down to personal preference. I'd like to try these against my Eclipses and I'm still waiting to find a legitimate way to aquire the Dragonshield Matte Art sleeves...

im going to bet that this year is when dragon sheild art matts come back cause i can understand that the rest of the arts that came out where already planned when they started selling the arts and a year is a good amount of time to get new art mattes ready for production if they dont bring a bunch back this year there going to get a bunch of players at there front door with torches and pitchforks

Considering the cloudiness of the recent eclipse sleeves, I'd argue these are the new top dog

Honestly regular UP matte sleeves outperform eclipse after a while eclipse srent durable enough to compete with dragonshield and definitely not with katana

I’ve used dragon shields since I’ve been playing magic. I do love them but quality does vary between colors and styles. I recently picked up a set of sparkled emeralds and they are absolutely awful. I also love eclipse sleeves. Best shuffle feel i ever shuffled and much better for commander since a stack of 100 eclipses doesn’t take up as much room as a stack of 100 dragon shields. Not a fan of the non glare front though and wished you could see the color from the front. But that shuffle feel though. Also all eclipse colors feel the same quality wise where dragon shields are a bit of a gamble.

I'm a dragonshield matte black guy, just due to their consistency and durability. But good gravy, these katana sleeves feel like butter to shuffle, which has always been my biggest complaint about DS sleeves. Absolutely love em

Yup haven't used any other sleeves ever since I found out about katanas years ago... Best sleeves I have ever used by far.

For me its standard sleeve rather than matte sleeves that's why I'm still using Dragon Shield. I hate how matte feels like when I shuffle.

Yup. I had the same problem with the double-sleeving, although I had no issues with fingerprints like you did. I suspect the new batch was made with much tighter dimensions than previously, whether by accident or on purpose. I was completely unable to reliably get my KMC Perfect Fits to get in without extreme care and effort. Luckily my LGS got a shipment of the double-sided Dragonshield double-sleeves, and those worked just fine, for what it's worth.

Also had double sleeving issues.
