Hey there! 🌟 Loved the stroll through historic Avignon! The Papal Palace is a masterpiece, and the insights into its history were fascinating. The masons' tools pic was a cool touch - imagining the craftsmanship involved is mind-blowing. Can't wait for the Arles adventure! Thumbs up! Thanks for sharing! 👍
Ciao, Rob! Unfortunately I didn't viait Avignon yeat, but I' ld really like to! Such an amazingly beautiful city filled of history and charm. Thanks a lot for your lovely presentation, my friend! Warmest wishes and see you soon! Renata 👍👏🖐🖐
That bridge can't have been in such a bad state if what was left survived from the flood disaster unchanged - seems a shame. The palace was amazing as were all the buildings, such a beautiful town ❤
Hi Anne, yes it is a beautiful place. They decided that they couldn't afford to mend the bridge but what remains has been restored and is now a big part of Avignon's story. Well worth visiting. All the best, Rob
Great tour Rob the history and vision of beauty that is the pope’s palace was very interesting As was the bridge that goes nowhere Enjoyed 🙏🏼🤠 Best regards Simon
Tx Simon. There is history on every turn in Avignon, a wonderful city to visit. Our guide told us it is now only 2 hrs from Paris on the TGV and so house prices have shot up and young people can't afford to rent or buy - sounds familiar! Tx for watching and all the best, Rob
