When I arrived back at Washington Dulles from Orlando, I arrived at the C-gates which are connected to the D-gates. The mobile lounge is only in service for the D-gates to the A-gates and back to the main terminal as of today because the aerotrain is used for the rest of the gates. I preferred to ride the mobile lounge this time because they may phase out sooner than the aerotrain. I can only do this when I arrive at Washington Dulles International Airport, not for going to a C-gate for departure because if I do it this way (going to a gate for departure from the main terminal), I will likely miss my plane. Recorded on April 20, 2014.

I used to work at Dulles--first as a ramp agent and then retail. When I worked retail in the D terminal I would take the mobile lounge (aka "people mover" aka "moon buggy") around 0430. In the summer months the morning sky would be juuuuust beginning to lighten at that time. I'd go unlock the store, set up shop, and watch the airport come to life as I worked. Never got tired of it

I'm quite happy. From now on only when I arrive at Dulles at the C-gates, I'll take the mobile lounge instead of the Aero train so I won't be way too sad.
