I didn’t spend hardly any money once I got there. The biggest thing was getting there and coming home. I spent 213 dollars in gas alone for the whole trip. It wasn’t cheap but it wasn’t expensive like some people do it.

Super trap makes an adjustable baffle that Scotty has placed in his bike because it takes out a lot of unnecessary noise. He likes it a bit quieter from my understanding.

@@ciminoscycles Oh, I see. That must be unusual, yes? Many of the motorcyclers I see seem to like their machines to be louder than original. I think he ist out of the ordinary man in this respect. Just saying.

​@@SteffiReitsch no necessarily out of the ordinary. just about any rider that rides the amount of miles Scotty does, will prefer a quieter exhaust. hour after hour, day after day listening to a loud exhaust will wear you out. it literally gets exhausting hearing loud exhaust all day everyday.

@@SteffiReitsch not many. There are people in America that have a 15 year old bike and have only 15,000 miles on it?🤔 Some even less.

I am no expert on Visas but if you get a passport and go thru immigration at the border you can complete the vehicle importation form and clear up the tourist visa and then you have about 6 months you can spend in Mexico before going back to the US

At the time I had to adhere to army regulations that said I had to wear all the gear. Ya do what ya gotta do to ride. I get out in 4 days.

@@ciminoscycles damn I wasn't aware the military was that overreaching... a person will get hot wearing all that gear. Congrats on getting out before crap gets worse.. thanks for your service.. come hell or high water I will make it up to camp 5 and Sturgis next year

@@bendaves77 yeah the army requires at a minimum over ankle boots, jeans full finger gloves and a long sleeve shirt. Helmet is at your discretion as long as it’s dot approved.

When I got out of high school in 96 the military was begging for people and offering some sweet bonuses and I went and talked to the Marines and Army but I just couldn't sign the paperwork.. I grew up with a physically abusive father and I had a problem with people talking to me a certain way or acting like they were going to get physical. I had the mental toughness and was in good shape but when I hear about rules such as this I'm thankful I didn't sign especially since I grew really wild in my 20s

@@ciminoscycles are you planning on relocating from New Mexico when you're done with the military? What kind of work will you be looking for?? I live just south of Moline Illinois.. it's northwest Illinois in farm country and the trade unions like plumbers, electricians, operators and laborers are begging for people and there's alot of work with cheap living.. the Iowa side is better to live in cause of taxes and laws.. but both states in this area have alot of small towns where it's almost zero crime.. we don't lock our doors to our houses or vehicles
