I love when you read Scotty’s old stories I hope you continue to do more

I got hit by a tornado in South Pekin Illinois 2003 had to sell my sportster my truck and my house ! the insurance canceled me ! I could not own an another house for five years. Because insurance companies wouldn’t cover me !And I did cry and haven’t been able to replace my Harley since. now I’m 67 I don’t know if I ever will have another. Retired with with only Social Security. But I’m glad I get to watch your stories and Scotty and Joe and enjoy them all. Thanks for the good rides.😊 at least I’m living in gulfport Mississippi. with saddle tramp, down here somewhere. I watch him too.😊

Goodland Kansas, 1971.brokedown Triumph on I-70. Rescued by a man with a motorcycle dealership in his barn on the family farm. Jim McClelland I believe his name was. My buddy and I spent a week as guests of his family while waiting for parts. An amazing experience for a couple of longhair bikers.

Wow, that was a great story or documentary of about Betsy and Scotty. I thought I was gonna cry when he had to depart ways with Betsy. I don’t know if I could’ve left her behind !😅what a old friend she was.😢 thanks for a great story. Can’t wait to see more of Scotty also.😊

Great story. All machines should be like Betsy. Easy to work on, easy on your wallet and dependable over the long term. I’m hanging on to my Shovel. Resurrected it 3 times so far. Had three Crown Vic’s. All got over 300K with no trouble.

Betsy gave Scotty many miles and many memories, lots of good times and some not so good times. Motorcycle is just like any other man-made vehicle(s) they are subject to break-down, falling apart, and break into pieces. Yet we give them name like we would our pet, and/or a nickname like a good friend. We become so attached to them and treat them often times better than we would ourselves. It's all for the Love of the Ride, the Adventure of the travel into the unexplode to go to the end of the road. Love to Ride, Ride to Live until the Very End. Luck be with you Scotty, wherever you may go.

great story. i had a '77 electraglide that carried me on my best motorcycle adventures. the only bike i've felt an emotional attachment to.

I put 63,000 miles on my old 1990 Sportster...It was like a friend dying when I had to sell it.I still think about it today although, I now have another one.

It's called a "soultie" and could be a beautiful thing like you and Scotty experienced, if you know what it is. If you don't understand a soultie than it could be very detrimental. I pat my sporty when she is doing her best. Motorcycles build families and from time to time should be invited to the supper table that they brought you to. Haha Rest in Pieces Betsy!

It's unfortunate that Betsy was stolen and then Scotty took parts from her.. atleast now that he's bought a 96 he's going to keep ol blue all in one piece. Said that he has to take it to Mexico one more season so he can get his money back from the Mexican government and if he doesn't then you're not allowed to bring any other vehicle's through the border ever again..
