Welcome back! Never ending discussions on whether Togashi "should" or "should not" give up the drawing of his Manga. I tend to have the same answer. 1. we do not know how Togashi gets his creative inspiration. Some artists need to actually DO their art to be inspired. So he may not actually be able to create the HxH story as it is without planning and drawing the panels (with or without any number of assistants). Until if and when he tells us if he thinks the story will be the same if he doesn't draw at all, we should stop asking for it. 2. Chronic pain affects all aspects of life. Togashi himself has told us his personal story in some detail. We may know him as a Mangaka and thus focus on the drawing of the Manga, but writing/typing (and many other day to day things) also requires you to be in a relatively static position for lengthy periods of time. So whether it be storyboarding for an ongoing manga drawn by someone else or novels/light novels written by himself, it is very naive to believe that we will get HxH content pumped out in rapid fire if he just gives up the drawing. The man said he couldn't even sit down for 2 years, wipe his ass, etc. Chronic pain affects everything in life and will make EVERYTHING just take longer. We should respect that. We can be sad and feel some frustration knowing we may never get to the end of HxH but we should also not make crazy demands of a man who is in daily constant pain, particularly if we are not artists and/or have not experienced severe chronic pain ourselves to understand anything that he is going through. I am just happy to still feel the love he has for this story in the recent chapters. Quality has not dropped off. Worth the wait! :)

If Togashi were able, I'd obviously love for him to finish solo. We probably aren't going to get that so I'm content with him using assistants.

i would personally prefer for togashi to do the art himself but i'm fine with whatever he ends up doing as long as the writing is from him and he directs the artists especially with facial expressions and fight choreography which are pretty unique with togashi.

Glad to hear from you again! These chapters are just *so* dense, and having them broken down by you makes it much more understandable for me. Re: your questions at the end of the video -- I definitely aint hankering to have HxH rushed; I'm a patient dude, and it's Togashi's baby after all. I think slower paced releases are fine if he gives them the time needed to have nice artwork done by him and his assistants. I *do* want Togashi to stay healthy, and being a mangaka has certainly taken its toll and the poor dude. If him not drawing means he gets to live longer and live happier, I would definitely prefer that option, 100% Hope your 2023 is going well, and may it continue to do so. Cheers

I'd actually just prefer for him to give the spark notes to his second. I'm not sure if its his health, his desire to continue, or a combination of both but it seems like HxH will be finished through a surrogate like "The Wheel of Time" or the manga "Alive!".

Hey, Peester, glad you're back! I'm not that much into the art, although I don't have a grasp how drastic the art style would change, if it wasn't drawn by Togashi himself. To answer your question I'd actually read the rest of a story in a book and wouldn't be that salty about it; at least I would have gotten to that sweet ending Togashi probably envisioned and changed like 10 times already. I'd also be fine with exploring the Dark Cobntinent in a couple light novels.

Kite kept his nen up for a while tracking Leol's crew with no difficulty. He had to filter everything out in the woods. Hinrigh is short but his seems perfectly stable too. Zeno can extend his up to 300 meters and can actually sustain it. Though perhaps not for as long or as comfortably as Kite can use his 45. Don't think you have to be a top-tier to do better than Phinx in their circumstance. The guy who shot himself to help Fugetsu&Saccho had longer En Range than Hinrigh but he was essentially a nobody hunter. I'm hoping the Taboo in Tyson's religion is actually that she doesn't want people to kill in her name. People always assume she's secretly psychotic but I think it would be a nice subversion that she's exactly who she seems like. Kaccho's mom didn't really grieve for her. She kinda showed she's way more into the SW and conniving than she seemed like on the surface and losing Kaccho was a huge set-back. She may be more like her older daughter than we were originally were let on; playing up how sad and doting she is over them like how Kaccho played up how bitchy and mean she was. Could still love them but her status matters just as much. Melody says she met with the other 3. The meetings just didn't give her the impression they were responsible for Fugetsu.
