A Run At Stowe - North Ridge to Football Fields

With a surprise storm midweek, Stowe's incredible backcountry terrain was looking the best it has all season. I decided to take an epic linkup off the summit of The Chin of Mount Mansfield, starting with North Ridge, heading around the Adam's Apple to Hellbrook, and bushwacking beyond out to Football Fields. I ended up skiing perfect powder the whole way, especially out in Football Fields, where I got to play on some cliffs lower down!

Epic! Last time I tried this I got cliffed out pretty bad coming down into the notch... word of caution to everyone to definitely know where they're going!! sweet vids.

I definitely saw those cliffs to my left. I got cliffed out too technically, but some dude skied under me and offered to film so I pretended I did it on purpose 😅

Hey dude, love the skiing but you gotta do something about the music. It's kinda distracting from the skiing to have the same youtube library song looping the whole time.

Tough to make any revenue if you use copyrighted music. I’ll experiment with lowering the volume of it/having sections without it. It doesn’t always sound quite as good on RU-vid as it does on my computer.

@@extreme_ryan_delena haha fair enough. There's some pretty solid stuff on nocopyrightsounds if you wanna get access to a bigger range of music but still be able to monetize your videos

Football Fields is because of a huge band of open bushes that mark the top of the line. Anything with fields in it would’ve made sense I suppose but that’s the one I was taught

I’ll have more videos like that in the future. I’ve been taking some time recently to make more bite sized content to help people find the channel, but in general my jam is longer content

I also cut out most of all the approach beta, accept for traversing around the Adam’s Apple but that’s an unavoidable landmark and anyone with a trail map can do it
