Glass windows do not enhence sound. Is glass bad for room acoustics? Because glass both reflects and "leaks" sound very differently than say sheetrock, it is generally important to provide some room treatments in front of the glass. Choices such as miniblinds, wood shades, duette cloth shades or heavy curtains each have very different absorption and diffusion characteristics.
Las Vegas is the best place for a team that wants to maximize profits as losers. In Vegas they can keep the cost of the roster low and fill the sits with visiting fans. Americans already go to Vegas regularly and now they can go there to watch their team win. It's wild that Vegas residents are willing to pay for a tourist attraction of this scale.
@@pauljoseph2400 Last June the Nevada legislature in enacted $380 million in funding towards the building of this ballpark. And my primary point it that in Vegas they won't have to invest in the roster to draw a crowd so it's not going to be a team for Vegas, it's going to be a team for tourists. Current ownership has operated without concern for winning.
Watch again. It is all enclosed with no retractable roof. I wonder how Ballys feels about, not only 9 acres for the stadium, but another 2-3 acres for a plaza for a meet up spot. A 35 acre total site and the A's will be be using 11 -12 for the stadium and meeting area. That leaves 23 acres for the new resort. For reference, Bellagio is located on 77 acres (31 ha). It includes a 156,000 sq ft (14,500 m2) casino and 3,933 rooms. The resort's signature attraction is the Fountains of Bellagio, a dancing water fountain synchronized to music. It is performed in an 8.5-acre man-made lake, located in front of the resort.
Call me a traditionalist, but that does not look like a baseball park. Videoboard not for us who have vertigo and how many birds will be sacrificed slamming into that huge glass wall?
You must be John Fisher...lol. Where is the hotel? Bullpen? Left field stands? Is the white roof going to work with the fielders? So many questions, and even if it's built enjoy those 100 dollar tickets to enjoy the owner worse than the Raiders.
Why should they wait Oakland hasn't done nothing for the nothing for them just like the Raiders and I think that ballpark is going to be the Pinnacle of the Major League
Been an Oakland A's fan all my life despite living in Southern California. Though they are moving closer to where I live, I will NEVER attend a game here or continue being an A's fan!! Fisher and Kaval suck!!!!!
@@elisemariecollinsyoga5905 he wants to increase the value of the club like the Raiders and then he'll sell it in a few years. Bay area guy his whole life and to bail like this. Tough luck Oakland could of really used a new park. The great fans deserve it, not Vegas.
I'm calling bullshit on this one. You've got a stadium that looks like a Baha'i temple, which clearly takes up the entire 35 acre site, when they've only been allocated 9 acres. Also, wind is a massive issue in Las Vegas, and it's going to blow the roof off that dumbass design. The only way to have a stadium that size is to move it opposite the Mandalay Bay, and just remodel the Tropicana after adding an indoor water park; then it can market itself as 365 tropical destination. Indian gaming has bought the land opposite the Luxor, so that end could look pretty nice going forward ... or it could look like shit for years if Vegas continues on the course it's currently on.
Thank JOHN FISHER, DAVE KAVAL, DAVE LOMBARDO & STATE SENATE BOTH DEMOCRATS & REPUBLICANS & THE UNIONS. FAMILIES will sellout that stadium everyday game!!! Have Rickey Hendersen Statue. There's room for a stadium TWINS stadium is only 8.5 acres.
