Her voice is just awful. But honestly, any woman calling a baseball game (or any men's sport) is totally cringe, they should not be permitted to do it.
Great W for the new kid on the mound! But, I think it’s time we start making Alvarado an early game reliever. Simply cannot rely on him in the playoffs in crucial moments. Leave that for Hoffman/Strahm.
He's good for an inning. Hoffman and Strahm can give you an inning and a half. Possibility two if needed. Closer for one inning is his niche . IMO the better move is to find that guy who comes in and relieves Alvarado in the ninth If he is pulled in the 9th.

Even Ranger needs to look at the first couple of months this season against the last month - something changed, and they need to figure that out.

I can't do it! I managed to watch a total of 4mins of the Phils/A's video from 2 days ago and I can only get 1 min into this video. I don't know who they are but, That announcer's voice is so irritating I can't watch this video. So high pitched (the voice is terrible)! ☹
Great win offense was amazing but pitching was iffy at times and Castellanos was good and we gotta do better on not swinging at balls out of the zone and hitting in the zone. But we need one more relief pitcher and a good bat in center and I wouldn’t be surprised if we trade for rooker or Ian Happ will see. But after losing 6-2 yesterday great bounce back. Try to watch another YT channel's coverage But they used the female broadcaster from Oakland as all of the commentary, and I mean there's no way to be sexist. Or anything she has every right to be there. As much as anybody else accept, the fact that she's a terrible PBP announcer. She was terrible in colorado, and she's even worse now in oakland. Please don't destroy this sport for inclusion. Harry Kalas was a hero to this city. And she is an embarrassment.
I know the female announcer for the As has been getting a lot of crap this year for her squeaky voice and lack of experience, so it’s nice to see that it has all been entirely justified. Look up her making a Siri joke about Jose Siri one pitch before he hits a home run. She may literally be the worst announcer in the history of sports.
Alvarado proves yet again how he is our weakest link in the bullpen. He needs to go to middle relief, he cant be closing these games. Also not a fan of the female play by play. It just feels wrong.
Last season he was sent to the minors to work it out. He has to figure out how to do that without going to the minors. Soto and Dominguez have improved a bit, let’s hope they find their way back to being dominating.
