Went looking for Spotted Seatrout feeding over grass before sunrise. I didn’t get to the spot until after sunrise but managed to persuade a healthy Speck to take my Backwater Bone Peanut plug in 10-12 ft near a crab pot. She whiffed on the first cast but not on the second. Managed some hits on the fly and Strike King Redfish Magic over grass patches and landed a pretty pup w/the Redfish Magic.
