This is very true. Most people at 45+ age bracket are sucked into some administrative / supervisory/ committee role in addition to their regular duties or have to report directly to higher management on daily basis. Now such high level meetings are usually post work hours (fixed as such by top bosses) so that you get juiced both ways. To make it all worthwhile, you get some fancy nameplate and some "namastey" from lower employees. If it continues, the family finds some other pastime to cope with a (usually) absent member and perishes in neglect only to be resuscitated at the retirement speech by inviting them and saying "my family is responsible for my success" without realizing that success and status ends the day after retirement and the loss is far too great to even think about undoing
Sango finally laid out the bare truth about 9-5. The youngsters as well as elders need to understand that 9-5 is not evil. Even if someone wants to become rich, he/she needs to earn money. And 9-5 forces you to upskill yourself and step out of your comfort zone and discipline yourself. You earn from your 9-5, save, invest. And then you can start a side hustle. Even a business requires capital and you first need to land on your feet to do all these. 9-5 may not be glorious, but it helps you earn your bread and butter in a stable fahsion. Unless of course you're brainwashed by these internet scammers and believe 9-5 is evil...
9-5 isnt bad or evil.its necessary for growth and direction.but toxic work culture is evil, where you can be bullied etc and no support system in place, and there are serious manipulators in organisation.
True, but not in entirety. While it is true that we have to work in the job system, but that is only out of necessity. That does NOT mean that jobs don't take away a lot out of your life in exchange for that recurring and predictable thing that we call salary for our livelihood. The key here is to understand that jobs are not "evil" per se, but it's also not at all a good system to spend your life doing. It is a NECESSITY. Period. Nobody does jobs and endure hardships by choice, only out of necessity. The people that get too lovey dovey with the job system start living too much in comfort zone and for that they pay a big price all their life. Again, it's important to recognize that jobs take a lot out of us and there is a large percentage of people for whom jobs are just not suited. And in any case, there is no such thing as 9-5, so it's inaccurate to call it that. It's more like 7-8.
My views are very similar. Job gives the required experience and maturity, but courage to start a new venture is something that one has to gain on his own!
I feel 9-5 when you are fresh out of college works well for few years to learn the ropes. Later on feels very redundant. People in the upper echelon tend to be in control of mangerial activities and people should aim for that.
Yes sir I am doing job happily because of you , I leaved my small town, moved to gurugram , stop preparing for govt exams and enjoying my fulfilment life and because of I have clarity not motivation
Working hours should be restricted to maximum 7 hours/5 days only including half hour break. Their is a dire need to reform the laws regarding working hours in order to ensure perfect work life balance for the people.
There should be a nationwide protest regarding this just like implementation of OPS. Working hours should be reduced across all sectors and should be negotiated with perfect balance wherever not possible.
I work at a large Australian university in Sydney and that’s what we have. 7 hour work day with 1/2 or 1 hour break (personal choice). Now that I’ve been in this system, I wish we had a 6 hour, 4 day work week 😂
That's why i recently completed btech in civil engineering, but I will not go for civil job work culture is so bad and there is no high salary or fix working hours and second I also don't like outdoor job.
Hmm let me give my take as a person who is working in a remote set-up since 7 years, 9-5 work pattern is good for those who had a good jump-start in "A" or "B" tier companies and those who spend 2-3 years in that type of organization get a good rock to jump on in a similar cadre company. The bad thing is that one gets caught up in an glass door culture atmosphere, a person with no nonsense attitude could never tolerate a TOXIC work atmosphere. Most companies in India do not know anything about "Neuro Divergence", employees are segmented, bucketed & even compared as one is under constant micro-scope. Remote work has its cons but somewhere it does not cause major emotional stress even if you get fired from the job, you virtually connected to the endless professional Ecosystem. You can constantly learn new skills, upgrade, think out of box and become technically independent. You work-ethics are lot better and more productive if a XYZ company trusts you completely. It is like "Dusro se meethi bath karke kaam nikalna or you do it yourself" that's the difference between 9-5 and remote setting. I think it is also our stars and choices.
Very nice topic...9-5 jobs karni hi chahiye kyunki business ka koi bharosa nahi hota....Aaj extreme profit kal extreme loss aur unka koi saturday/sunday nahi hota...Dimag me har time bas business hi business rehta hai unke dimag me...There is no peace of mind even if they earn a lot of money after a point....9-5 naukri ka yahi ek faida hai ki chahe woh literally 9-5 na bhi ho toh atleast saturday/sunday ko hum look forward karte hai ki rest mile, family aur friends ko time de sake...aur fixed income bhi EMI bharne me kaam aati hai....And you are right about switching jobs from time to time....Yeh to pakka karni hi chahiye for career and monetary growth....Ek hi jagah ade rahenge government employee ki tarah toh na toh duniya ke sath kadam se kadam mila paoge na koi new skillset seekh paoge....Yeh faida hai corporate me job karne ka.....Advantages aur disadvantages dono me hai....depends on your priorities aur your current financial situations..
I can relate it with every word that you said sir.....❤ currently facing these reality and scenario of life....with this video i learnt a lot and ek pressure halka hua ❤ thank you sir 🙏🏻❣️💯
Point Gurujii.. Do jobs only for learning different skills... In early stage jobs gave dual advantage money and different skills.. So focused to learning skills and whenever opportunity is there leave job and start small business.. I think after completed 5 yeras jobs start to think about personal business in line. Keep one thing in mind do part time business with job. Its hard because you managed two things parallel but its not impossible.. Its my personal experience and I leave from trap.
Correct. Corporate job is usually 9pm to 10pm to reach home. Even with WFH, it's same time to complete work. One must Work around these work timings to progress in career. Be flexible on work times along with Upscaling skills, so you are given good and challenging roles. Makes ur life interesting.
Adhikar bhavna par video banaye. Kai bar adjust kar lene ka swabhav hone ke karan, job me ya ghar par wo samman ya sthan nahi milta jo milna chahiye. You are taken as granted.
if you are thinking of starting up please unserstand that you are signing yourself up for morning 6 to night 12 for atleast 10 years period. though rewarding but again it is not some shortcut to success scheme .
Changing jobs every two to three year is not bad, actually there is myth that is hurts your CV. It’s ok think from your personnel growth it adds value to your variety of experiences skills. Different places you learn different skills. Eventually learn all and then as Guruji told beyond 40 it will equip you to start something on own or else if nothing even if you work somewhere as senior director you will have that experience of driving things.

9 to 5 jobs are best in starting everyone career, it's a myth people are spreading everywhere 9 to 5 is wrong , follow your passion and earn money , these all are bullshits things because it never happened in 99% people life.
Please create some content on the emotional abuse middle class girls still go through in the own family of origin. They don’t have support at home or outside when they marry. This is also truth. I will be happy to share my own life story if you need. Delhi girl. Physical abuse can be seen but emotional and mental harassment is still less talked about. Depression is stigmatised and made the problem of the girl not discussed why it happened. Parents don’t want to take responsibility. Can society be kinder to girls who go through this and someone get the parents aside and talk about what’s happening rather than making her the evil. This is happening
Sir u have set a narrative here for middle class people md parents to just stuck to 9-5 jobs here no one wanna to go out of comforts of jobs. Young age middle class give to Jobs. Once they entered in it after 45 also they seeking jobs. Wife parents family society relative everyone pressurise to continue jobs. Made videos jobs along with other income sources also not just 9-5 jobs. It's very risky according to current economic scenario
Govt service me izzat aur paisa nahi raha... Private job hai nahi.... Business start karna is too risky .... startup sabke liye nahi hota..... yeh job lo wo chodo....yeh start karo wo start karo......sirji aap youth ko clarity nahi aur confuse kar rahe ho!😅
After watching his maximum videos I also feel the same, guruji acha analysis krte hai....negative points bata dete hai but follow up and how to improve such situations ye ni batate.... akhir kare to kare kya😂😂
