In this meditation, Dr. Kate Truitt walks us through a self-havening and CPR for the Amygdala exercise to help up stop ruminating negativity and move into a state of calm and relaxation. As always, Dr. Kate invites us to welcome in havening touch to help us deepen this experience.
She asks us to float back and find a time where our brain started chewing on something. Once we’ve identified that experience, she asks us to remember what we felt like in our brain and body during that moment. As we exhale, she guides us to release any of the negative energy from that experience.
Next, she invites us to look around us and find any 4 rectangular objects. Then she asks us to find 3 hues of green, 2 shades of blue, and 3 shades of pink.
Then she asks us to go back to that experience from earlier, remembering how our mind and body were feeling. Again, she guides us through breath work, exhaling the negative energy we felt during that experience.
