***** Well I'm "attacking" those who say this movie is shit. Being thick is same in every nation, so I am really against dumb and shallow comments, not those from Serb in particular.
Everything. It's an art piece. Every layer of it has something to tell. If you watch movies just by finding some scenes grose and some pretty, there's nothing we can talk about.
@Braleven August Underground has some hits and some misses...the first one was gory for sure but it was almost unwatchable quality-wise. That's where they kind of fall apart...they remind me of that series just called "Violent Shit", low quality, weak story and production, some really unpleasant kill scenes (that whole "disembowel and then fuck the intestines" thing in Mordum or the eating of the maggot baby was pretty disturbing). Ever see "Tetsuo: The Iron Man"?

@MELANIJA995 That's the thing, most movies like Cannibal Holocaust, Blood Sucking Freaks or August Underground FEEL fake, they're campy, gory, and almost just a larf to watch. This movie all had top notch acting, brilliant set design and cinematography. It's really a well done movie...I don't know I can say I ENJOYED it as such, one of those "I gotta take a shower with steel wool now to wash it off me" movies, but it was a well done film all around...just disturbing as all hell.

@themax316 No, this movie has nothing to do with reality. It's just a couple of "famous" Serbian actors who wanted easy money by making a viral movie, that's it. The film was barely in theaters here, and most people didn't see it, and those that did have the similar reactions to these. The movie was clearly aimed for American market, hence the shocking name of the movie, for which, might I add, these people should be banned for making more movies on Serbian territory.We don't need Borat favours.
if the writers of south park think the movie is sick to have puke as its review, then you know it is bad........i saw the movie, it is about family. mr bush talked about family values. this is what he meant. remember south park did a nice parody of the human centipad.
tbh I didn't find the movie so extremely disturbing. It's all just a little bit overhyped :3. Subconscious Cruelty and Mordum : Pennance and stuff like that is way worse. Excuse my bad english ._.
Jebiga, ljudi, i ja sam se jezio dok sam gledao, ali - to je film, umnetnost, slika koja traje duze od prelazenja pogledom, zato je i nastao. A oni koje je sramota sto su gledali, nisu trebali da komentarisu. Tako je bilo i za "Kresni me", pa sad nema zivog lika na planeti da nije gledao, samo... ovo je neto drugo.

@srpskiheroi learn to read between the lines. don't take this film literally. I do not enjoy watching sick scenes, and i was also disgusted at first, but after second time it was all making perfect sense. and don't be such a heater its not like the movie is made to show only sick things. but u are obviously to shallow to see that.
Isn't this that movie from the country where some guy dressed up like the villain from the film and shot all those people and a baby? What a sick country, right...
malo je samo da se neko ispovraca na ovaj film... mnogo gore se desava kad odgledate samo trailer ... a tek ceo jebeni film kad gledate samo mozete da kazete Sta koj kurac!! na svaki deo filma !!! samo ce povracate i derete se jer je tolko glup i bolestan film da mi se Srdjan Todorovic smucio!!!
