Poor horse, Thank you trying to help. Here is Iowa, USA we use Bug spray to get rid of flies and mosquito's. We have had a severe drought, past 3 yrs. This spring 2024 we are getting rain and just announces out of a drought.
I’m happy his hoof is growing and he’s doing better. I feel sorry that he has an abscess and that so many flies are surrounding the hoof. I wish it didn’t hurt him but I’m glad Renato is going to put some medicine on his hoof. I wish he could wrap it up too so the flies would keep away. Great job! Horse owner in Northern Minnesota USA. (6 actually) Typical spring weather where I live here, it’s going to freeze hard tonight. But that’s normal up north. I appreciate your efforts and enjoy your prospectives from over seas. It makes me a better horse owner.
If this is the horse I think it is, you should've seen how it looked from the beginning. There was an injury and most of the hoof fell off, I kid you not. I doubted if the horse would survive, so to see it like this, it's amazing. They have to do it little by little.
Did you spray any antiseptic spray or iodine to the wound to keep the flies away? It seemed like the gnats were almost living in the hoof. It looks better than it did when you started & the horse seemed more comfortable.
If you look closely you can see that there is an old injury just above that hoof. The hoof does not grow correctly anymore, so Renato has been trying to keep the hoof as close to normal as possible. This trip the horse happened to have an abscess that needed to be opened. This is an ongoing problem that will never go away, but they are doing their best to keep everything close to normal for this horse. There is no cruelty involved in this case, it is just an accident that they have all been trying to take care of.
So instead of the rude comment how about you get someone to show you where the volume button and or fast forward button are . Otherwise you could go check out some different videos!
I don't understand why you didn't pop the abcess the flys have shown you where the abcess is so why didn't you fix it Renato also there is to much talking to much just fix the poor horse please thank you.
If it's the horse I think it is, it's roaming free in a herd on a large pasture. There was a serious accident quite some time ago and the owner has brought it in daily to treat the injury and Renato has been coming regularly to slowly build the hoof back to normal. So there's a loooong backstory to this and it's looking so much better than before.
