Bruce Cassidy was the best thing that could have happened to the Golden Knights. He was disciplined, focused, and required them to play 60 minutes every game! Go Knights Go, but thank you Bruce! 🥰
@@bobbowie9350yes it’s the players skill, but it was Cassidy who brought out the team 200 ft player in Eichel that everyone knew was there. He gets a lot of credit for managing goalie issues, along with their incredible goalie coach.
I was at the front of Toshiba Plaza when they played this video, the players were arms around each other and facing the screen. Although you couldn’t see their faces, you knew their emotions were at its highest. All their pain, suffering, and sacrifices were reflected upon. They may not all play together again as a team, however the brotherhood they formed will never be forgotten. Congratulations to winning the Stanley Cup.
That’s one of my favorite moments from that night - seeing the players with their arms around each other watching this video for the first time with the rest of us and the Stanley Cup floating above us in the sky (drones). Just a perfect moment.
another tri state area fan here actually going to LV next week (hoping to see any knights or the cup lol) but great that we have more VGK support in the area!
Congrats Vegas! I’m from Chicago and I’ve been to at least one game each year I’ve been to Vegas since the inaugural season. I’m very happy for the fan base and the city on their first Stanley Cup! Go Knights Go ⚔️
Every time I see this vid, I cry, my father say when you truly love hockey there is that one game where you shed tears of joy, for him it was the miracle on the ice USA VS USSR, for me it is game 5 of the 2023 Stanley cup finals, FAN AT THE START, FAN THROUGH THE HIGHS AND THE LOWS, BUT FOREVER MORE, GO KNIGHTS GO⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️
It truly is The Golden Age of sports in Vegas. All of us who are born and raised always wanted to be apart of legendary nights like this. Go Knights Go! 💪
I like the blues and it must feel amazing winning the stanley cup for the first time which is what I felt in 2019 when we won our first. The fact that your team is only 6 years old and made it to the finals in your first year is crazy
Not crazy... was given... or am I missing the fact the blues gave them a player.. fyi Seattle had six twenty plus goal scorers last season that's a joke....
Amazing song, an amazing town but more importantly, an amazing team. Their brotherhood will last forever, these guys just refused to be beaten. This town is totally in love with these guys, that will last forever too !
@@avsrock1561 Yeah, an owner that invested in a winning, competitive product for the fans and the city of Las Vegas. The same people who said they were going to be terrible in their first few years are the same people that say they were gifted a great team.
@@avsrock1561 Them selling out games and wrapping their arms around this team after a national tragedy in their city said otherwise. As someone who has talked to plenty of people who live in Las Vegas, they love the Golden Knights a lot more than you think and that's their team.
We love you so much our Vegas Golden Knights!🥰🥅🏒🥰🏆🍾🤩🤙🥰 ! You guys did it,we all did it! We brought the cup home and it’s ours!We have So much happy tears for our Team! A Team that has so much love and determination! 🏒🥅💪🏻 Well Deserved,Champions 🏆VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS! GO KNIGHTS GO!!!!🤙🍺Cheers😀
I still can’t believe I was there in person to see them lift the cup. What an amazing experience to share with all my fellow Vegas fans. A moment of a lifetime.
It will be an unforgettable memory for me watching this video play at the championship rally. Seeing the players huddled together & then noticing up in the sky multicolored lights floating in from the distance transforming into a brilliant drone show to top off an incredible season. 10/10
It made the misses happy as she is a huge fan :D All I know is I had to buy her a jersey and Stanley Cup championship shirt...Now Im hoping to get them signed here up in Calgary as we got some boys on the TEAM, Might convert me over as Im a leafs fan.....But I watched it closely and GO KNIGHTS GO
@@avsrock1561during the expansion draft McPhee made lots of trades and that's how he built a western conference champion. But turning it into a Stanley Cup champion took even more trades We will see if Seattle can win the Cup as fast
@@xlr0gd205 the fact that teams had to give up top players is a joke... Seattle had six twenty plus goal scorers last season...? Hhhuuummm... corrupted?...
When this city was asked if it wanted an NHL team, we demanded a vegas born team thanks to the expansion of the NHL!!!! From a bunch of misfits no team wanted, to now the defending NHL CHAMPIONS!!! WE ARE THE LAS VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS!!!!!
A lot of analysis say Vegas lost a lot which I believe they didn't but when you look at this picture there about 3-4 maybe 5 or more players still on the current roster that lifted that cup in the 22-23 season
What would I do if I were making a team? It would depend on if there is difficulties to win and you know I’m spendthrift. You have a very good team you have chances to win the Stanley cup again next year. What I saw is dangerous losts, very great wins and a problem of puck control for the attack (I saw it on only one game, and I’m already guessing or realizing things) you know when you or the team keep the puck it’s cause you are good and it’s to launch an attack,to score or to pass to the attack, globally. This is far away from power. (Right now) in hockey sometimes you win and sometimes you loose,a bit like a obligated thing? Maybe that's either cause of the way of playing of all the current players. Maybe I could show you if you see me somehow, the real way/manner of playing hockey, for you to maybe to try that a little bit or a kind of,well for now, cause maybe one day all the currents players will be able to do others things. Wayne Gretzky said that to win the Stanley Cup the winner must have defended. That's true if there is something, but you know there may be different ways. I think that Wayne Gretzky was mostly a center player. Me I was completely mostly a winger. I said that cause It’s really the best for me,I feel lot better at this position either.
My hockey nickname is Captain OJI (my initials) my official nickname is the Ghost. King of the Strikers mean king of the strike. My soccer nickname is the Machine. Will you believe me that even winger I can very control the game and the puck of the full game? Maybe it's impossible to be like me but the idea is still something very good.
Without a new best player that have a certain skills level what you are doing it’s to rely on the team to always win. And without a new best player that have a even superior certain skills level it would be to rely on the other best player and the team to always always win and things can happen regarding them. And everything depend on witch player of them cause there is better ones that the others. Me my type of certain skills levels is unique for now, something you won't be able to find.
@@jarg7 bro they earned it entirely . They didn’t get any more lucky than any other Stanley cup champion. Every single champ in history has had SOME level of luck on their way to the cup. It’s necessary to win a cup. Hockey is a game where luck plays a factor. But they also dealt with unlucky lines. Came into the playoffs already with their starting goalie injured and then got their backup injured in The 2nd round. Still won anyway. Played through a lot.
