Hi you two 🙋♂ , well it deffo is a thimble but strange there are no hall marks have you tried the silver paper test on it ? anyway it's a nice find and i would have opened the compact just to make sure there wasent a sovereign inside people hid money in strange places 😂 , good video my friends and nice finds hope all is good with you both best wishes and ATB Rob 👌👌
I am now convinced it is a thimble, we haven't done the silver paper test, but might give it a go. After looking at it some more we are pretty certain it is silver. As for the compact, you sound like Jon, he said exactly the same, may be a sovereign or two inside 🤣🤣I know curiosity will get the better of us and we will open it lol.
