My wife and I loved the outdoors, I am a metal detectorist, my wife loves photography. We like walking and exploring, historic places, stately homes, ruined abbeys etc. After suffering a severe adverse reaction to Ciprofloxacin given for an infection I didn't have, I am now disabled. This antibiotic is toxic to some people it attacks soft tissue, tendons, muscles, cartilage. It's left me with peripheral neuropathy in both legs, severe osteoarthritis in my knees and shoulders with cartilage degeneration and in constant pain in many areas of my body. My wife is a member of Fluoroquinolone Toxicity support UK, which offer great support. After sitting in the house for six months I decided to try and get some semblance of life back. We bought a secondhand powerchair, a 4X4 magic mobility extreme X8, and a WAV. We are going to film some of our outings and metal detecting adventures. We will look at parking, accessibility and pricing. Please subscribe we would really appreciate it.
some interesting finds off that field and real detecting,, the item at 12-55 i think is part of a Georgian rim lock handle HH and good luck on the next have subbed you
Hi there, would be good to see them if you have a go. I was thinking of doing a few more and adding them to a garment. Thanks for commenting, cheers Jon and Wendy 😊
Again some cracking finds, the 1699 coin was good for it's age, if you'd of kept going you would of had a set of 6 spoons, good video guy's we enjoyed it 👍
Thank you. Lol, yes, don't think we've ever found so much cutlery in one session 😂. And we are quite pleased with 1699 coin 👍. All the best Jon and Wendy 😊
Hi Jon & Wendy , well plenty of finds and the 1699 coin was a lovely find i also like the lead weight with the alloy loop it may have been used for dry casting practice by a fisherman , if it was a really old lead weight the loop would have been cast into the weight as one solid piece and not added into the molten lead ie an alloy loop , great video once more and love the banter , best wishes and ATB Rob .
Hi , we love that coin! The lead weight was strange, we actually found another one the following week and we did think of a fishing weight, there isn't any water nearby, but maybe, whoever dropped it, was prepared to walk a long way, who knows? I wonder how old it is? Thank you for watching and commenting, we appreciate it. Cheers from Jon and Wendy 🙂
Why would anyone make a forgery of a coin? Your finds are very nice. And you know, there is no arguing with the man who knows everything. Just kidding John. 🤣🤣
Hi 👋. Strangely, coins were forged a lot, they would make them out of melted down copper alloy coins, which were cast into moulds of the silver coinage and then dipped in a very thin layer of silver. This was called silvering. Thank you for commenting and glad you enjoyed the video. All the best from Jon and Wendy 😊
Hi , great informative video my friends thanks for showing us round it looks like a great place to visit very picturesque and tranquil , the place looks like it is very user friendly with good access and facilities , anyway great video and hope you are both keeping well best wishes Rob 🙋♂👍👍
I wore out my bttery out in 10 months / 600km's. I go for a spin most days, so... I'm looking at lithium 100Ah, LifePO the same size, and I may catch fire, but I'm already threatening by stranding it.
Hi Thank you. Yes, there were quite a few coins in the end, but we really weren't expecting the durex wrapper 🤣🤣🤣. Appreciate you watching and commenting, all the best from Jon and Wendy 🙂
Hi , for some reason i have stopped getting notifications about your latest videos ? so i have un-subbed and re-subbed hope that fixes the problem 🤞anyway some very nice finds there love the Vicky silver but my favourite is what i believe is a work house token ? very nice 👍 , hope all is good with you both best wishes and ATB Rob 🙋♂👍👍👍
Hi, we thought something was wrong because our channel seems to have frozen and has been receiving very few likes or new subscribers. We think youtube promote some channels that are getting more attention and ours obviously isn't lol Ah well it is what it is, we will keep posting videos and see what happens. All the best Wendy and Jon.
I put in per battery 120 amp hour 240 AH in total and i was a bit shocked at how little there was in the suspension ! I also are adding 4 solenoids plus fabrication to stop traveling axel frame as it gives to much roll in some cases so locking up the up and down motion will add to stability ,Don't know if you can picture the following But It tends to pivot from the center section when free or unlocked but when locked it will pivot from the wheel Meaning it will take a lot more to roll it when rolling across the gradient if say a wheel drops into a hole the whole axle wont move or drop down on just one side . thanks for your video ! the top of the late model x8's leave everything on now as its hinged when replacing the batteries
Hello to you both, hope you're well. Thanks for sharing this video, got to love a padlock, love the fluer de lee thingy. The Victorian coin is from my favourite monarch 👍 That lead token is very interesting
What a good lot of finds! Is it possible that the lead token has a stylized "EE" with one of the E's being backwards? Just subscribed to the channel. Glad to be aboard!
Hi there , Yes it could be, will have to try and research a bit more. Thank you for the sub, really appreciate it. We subbed you too. All the best Jon and Wendy 🙂
Brilliant fun time you had guys. Absolutely love the brooch thing. I found a sweetheart brooch made of 4 Victoria farthings it was stunning. Thanks for sharing and the laughs 😂 Happy hunting 😁
