He could still receive points but his lack of route experience would make him very iffy. The exception would be if you have stats that show the trainer has a good on the board hit rate when stretching horses out for the first time. We would want to see that stat show that the trainer’s stretcher outers ran 1st, 2nd or 3rd 50% or more of the time.
I have a Brisnet PP for 12-22 Race 7. Horse 1 Picking Up Pennies scored the max - 73. Three horses tied for 55 pts (2,3,6). Horse 1 won the race paying $8.80 - despite a 7 month layoff. Final Order 1 -2 -6 -3. Exacta paid$24.30.
