Thank you for showing this was so fascinating to watch, I was wondering if it would be possible to reduce the wooden handle in size for more comfort or is the size due to heat issues , or alternatively make all components i.e. metal tubes etc one third smaller or even half.

yes. you are right I decided to thicken the wood due to thermal issues with the handle. Of course, it is also possible to make all parts such as handles and metal tubes small. However, the length of the nichrome wire and the input current must also be different. For example, if you decide to halve the metal tube thickness and set the nichrome wire to 10 cm, the input voltage should be 12 volts.

If it is difficult to determine the current, it is solved by installing the DC voltage regulator shown in the video. If you increase the current of the voltage regulator as much as possible with all components reduced, the nichrome wire will melt. This is because the nichrome wire in the video is the length of the nichrome wire optimized for a current of 24 volts.

@@MacGyverK Thank you for your help i have made one of the basic ones [two Pins] it will be fun having a go at one similar more advanced one like yours, incidentally if its any help i bought a tiny Desk heater fan took out the heater element attached a tube to the back then this is now a great extractor fan to suck away the fumes when burning.

Maestro tengo parte de un cautin que utilizaba como pirografo, a la punta le puse o le entolle papel de aluminio y aumento su temperatura pero se me rompió de tanto usarlo, aquí cuesdan cerca de $500 pesos el mas barato. [ Pirografo] desde 30 dólares en adelante. Bueno le agradezco mucho por este video luego le digo cómo me fue. Saludos desde PUEBLA México.

Gracias por ver mi vídeo y por tu interés. Como puede ver en el video, se calentará si usa electricidad CC adecuada para la longitud y el grosor del cable de nicromo. Si la longitud y el grosor del perno eléctrico no coinciden, los resultados no serán buenos. En mi experiencia, 20 cm de alambre de nicromo de 1 mm son los más apropiados para electricidad de 24 voltios y 1 amperio :)

É bastante interessante construir um ferro de solda e de pyrography nesse modelo, pois mostra os mistérios por trás da ferramenta, porém, um que seria mais duradouro devido a resistência seria se você construísse com vela para aquecedor a diesel, te pouparia bem menos trabalho e com a sua genialidade com certeza conseguiria diversificar bastante a variação de pontas.

@MacGyverk Maestro soy de México, estoy intentando hacer un pirografo, he visto muchos vídeos, pero no todos son o mejor dicho el resultado es como dicen, vi el suyo y lo intentaré, tengo todo, vu una respuesta que dió, tengo solamente10 cm. Dd alambre nicrom, y una fuente de 12 volts. Lo boy a intentar , ayer me llfve toda la noche hicf 7 intentos con diferentes y no me salieron😢😅, solo me falta el grosor del alambre de cobre, de que grosor es? , Aquí es muy escaso que lo vendan soloven tuendas grandes donde se utiliza para cosas como un tablero eléctrico

encantado de conocerlo. La respuesta llega tarde El alambre de nicromo es 10 cm demasiado corto. Aún así, pruébalo. El grosor es de 0,1 mm como se muestra en el vídeo. Si el alambre de nicrom es demasiado grueso, no generará calor. Además, si está muy fina, la temperatura del calor será alta y se derretirá. No sé si este consejo te ayudará. animar

찾기 어렵다면 니크롬선을 감는 튜브를 절연필름 대신 써도 됩니다 유리튜브 또는 글라스튜브 검색하면 나옵니다

@@MacGyverK 유리튜브나 글라스가 보통 250도 짜리가 많더라구요 그이상되는건 구하기 힘든거 같고... 보통 니크롬선이 붉어진다 싶으면 700도 이상이라는데.후훔. 지금 쓰신게 200도 내화인데 잘되는건가요?

영상에 나오는 화이트색깔 글라스튜브는 사용하는데 아무 이상 없습니다^^ 니크롬의 열이 가해지면 튜브가 타면서 연기가 나지만 1분정도 타고나면 튜브가 단단하게 굳어요 그 상태에서 반복적으로 열을 가하든 식히든 변화는 없게 됩니다 대신 물리적 힘을 가하면 굳은 튜브는 부스러집니다 영상에서 나오는 도구를 만드는 정도라면 유리튜브가 열을 얼마나 버티든 그건 중요하지 않고 그냥 하시면 됩니다^^
