When architect Carl Lim was given the brief to design a new house for a couple, he discovered that the property once belonged to former Singapore President Ong Teng Cheong. Keen to preserve a slice of history, Lim repurposed some of the window grilles from the late president's home, incorporating them into decorative panels at the entrance foyer.
