hi Anna I live in united kingdom and would love to make this for my granddaughter I have a problem , as I cannot get the gold garland that you have used Do you know please if the shop you got them from ship items to the UK. thanks Helen
+Helen Burman u can but the green color leaf like that mostly in nearly xmax day. u can buy gold spray and spray all over, like gold or silver... just a suggestion as i was thinking where to get it also. i cant find it so i saw those leaves last year in supermarket for Christmas. but mostly green
+Helen Burman If it isn't too much of a hassle you could get some regular plastic green garland and spraypaint it? i'm sorry that i don't have a better solution
I am making one of these for my granddaughter's fourth birthday. I found a skirt with tulle and cut it to fit. This is an absolutely adorable idea for girls of all ages and beautiful for a bridal gown, with blue lights. You did a wonderful job in showing every step of the way.
Oh wow! This would make the perfect wedding dress, also I thought you would be amazing doing costumes for theatre or ballet productions! So much talent.
I've watched only 2 videos, but I'm already in love with this channel. I'm not sure if you do, but if you don't, you should make wedding dresses ! I'd love buying one ... when I'll get married. You inspired me to work even harder and practise more my sewing techniques and creativity. I subscribed !
everything you have created is beautiful and breath taking..you're an amazing talented young lady...continue doing what you're doing..blessing's and lots of health to you...
Just stumbled upon this video asking google "how do i sew fairy lights into a dress" and this is exactly what I needed. Thank you for sharing this, although I am here many years later. This will be my second dress I am sewing lights into and this video has given me new ideas on how to improve my technique. THANK YOU!!! I hope you are still making beautiful, unique outfits :) Ps: love the music
I love this dress so much that I instantly recognized when an image of it was being used as a 'product' photo for an Amazon listing I saw tonight. I know you didn't use the product in this dress, so I was shocked to see a photo of this beauty in with their 'product' photos.
This is a wonderful dress, and I would love it if you could make a better video on how you did it. I am not a dress maker, and was so lost! I would like to hear you explain what you are doing! I JUST LOVE IT
I gasped at the finished product. It is beautiful! I’m a Christmas sap, so I loved the music, too. I appreciate your work and am only 5 or so years behind... 🎄 🌟
Never seen anything like this! Gorgeous! Beautiful! Stunning! I am using this inspiration to make a tree skirt for a formal indoor gold-champagne-cream-with pearl theme! I love your use of dimension, texture, & lights! You're very creative and talented.
how could any one dislike this? OMG, creative, very talented! I made a costume one year I was a Christmas tree, I had alot of lights woven into the garland but I found the battery packs a bit bulky, I am liking your idea much better!!!! thank you I enjoy your videos!
Goodness, its not just the talent but incredible patience ...honestly I don't think I could finish one of this dresses, I couldn't even help speeding up the video U.U Great job though, these dresses are true works of art.. ..amazing.
You're creativity is amazing!! And I'm very inspired to make sonething similar for a Snowflake Queen costume for a Santa Pub Crawl in town. I didn't want to be a Santa like most of the other attendees or wear an ugly sweater. I started buying different lights and fabrics a few days ago. And found your channel looking for the best way to make a lighted crown. TY TY TY!!
omg its even more gorgeous than just the picture ive been hunting down for almost a yr. i think itld make a wonderful wedding dress! i hope i can make something that actually looks like a dress (idk how to sew)
i found a pic of this at pinterest and i loved it. i am happy that i found your channel and the video of how you created it. now i love it even more :-) greetings from a small austrian youtuber
Story time! This year I didn’t find my dream prom dress, but I found a dress that worked and I altered it myself. But once you have a dream dress in mind,, you can’t just give it up. So I made a plan. Next year I am going to make my own homecoming dress and prom dress. It won’t be my own prom but I can go to a friend’s prom. Now your channel has really inspired me because my dress has a few components of some of the dresses you made here. ((the lights and the fairy dress)) I am hoping that I can make my dress look even a fraction as beautiful as your dresses came out because they’re absolutely beautiful. You’re amazing at what you do!
This is so beautiful it gave me an idea. As I don't think I have enough time to make a dress like this nor pocess the talent. I would make a big bow with the lights inside that sits at the back of my dress
I guess you just introduced me to me wedding dress. As per theme, changing the top to house some red and the bottom may have bits of red but this just blew my mind. It's so beautiful. Thank you so much for the tutorials. If I fuck up, I'm going to be personally paying any price for you to make me one if you do those kinds of things. If not I'm totally going to be recruiting a person who knows how.
Wow, you are so talented! It's a joy to watch you create! I would love to do something like this for my Halloween costume this year. I was thinking of a haunted scene/village with the lights shining from behind to show the silhouettes. I am not as talented as you but I would love to try!
OMG You are so talented! Im thinking about doing this for my job's Christmas party....I am going to set it off! But I wont turn the lights on until it's time to get on the dance floor! :)
THIS. IS. WONDERFUL. And I don't even like dresses to begin with. But, wow. I mean, seriously. I'll try and make something similar one day. And, really, how come you're not the most famous artist on earth? (because yeah, that's ART) you're so creative and talented!
Wow!! You are a very talented young lady. I have not yet watched part 2 showing the bodice and headpiece. That is next on my list of things to do. I did watch the fall fairy videos. Have you ever done fairy shoes? Your work is amazing. People just don't realize what it takes to put it all together. The cost of all the materials plus the time involved. You have a lot more patience than a lot of people. You definitely have more talent and imagination. Do you know, roughly, how many hours it took to complete this outfit?
Woah woah woah how do you gather fabric with your sewing machine???? I've always either had to sew in elastic or push the fabric down the thread by hand. I am very lost right now someone please help me out it will be both a time and money saver for me.
I made it without lights bcoz my princess is too young for lights she is just one year old.. any ways very amazing dress, thank you for such a nice idea.
Angela, I'm watching project runway and the challenge is to make a garment that lights up. I wish they could see your design or perhaps they.tool your idea. bless,
Angela Clayton... i can never make up my mind for wedding dress... until i see this... thank you so much... If you are selling please let me know... I would like to buy from the original creator of this lovely dress... NONE other but you... And not others.. Many loves
I know you love dancing because of the clothing articles you make. They are very beautiful creations... my only question is how did you sit down in the garment without breaking the little lights?
Hi ,I just loved the dress,I would like to make one of my own..can you please post me the purchase links of the lights you have used and also the glittery garlands. Please!!
Wow! I love lights and this skirt is filling me with all kinds of Christmas spirit. : J If only I had places to wear something life this, I would so make one with berries and greens.
