I can’t believe I’ve been following you for this long, just wow. I was just starting 6th grade when I first saw this and now I’ve graduated in may of 2021. It’s this video that got me into sewing and now I’m in school for sewing and am wanted to make a future of it. I doubt you see this but thank you for uploading to this day, your also the one that got me into using old patterns and into vintage clothes
My 15 birthday is coming up and we've been thinking about maybe making my dress, my mom posted on Facebook a picture of a flower dress similar to this one earlier today and I thought it was so pretty but I didn't know where to get it. I found this video somehow on my recommendations list and damn! How ironic. Definitely well consider making it. Thanks.
What a lovely idea i just had a thought i cud make a smaller version as a kind of tutu type thing for a girl or one similar style to this could maybe be used as a flower girl dress in a wedding
Thank you for this! I wanted to add flowers and butterflies to the hem of my wedding dress I'm now making for our April 2019 wedding! I am so inspired by this. Our theme is a Spring Garden Brunch. My dress has pockets, so I'm thinking of adding fairy lights as well! So creative and your videos are very well done!
Simpky Beautiful!! I bought my granddaughter a very similar skirt when she was two years old, but the flowers were not adhered. Your alternative would have saved me a lot of time fluffing her skirt in an endless attempt to rearrange/spread out the flowers! Love your skirt... :) ♡
Tbh would make something like this for a wedding dress XD. I want a huge closet full of big bubbly poofy flower filled costume dresses now!!!! ^-^-^-^ Amazing!!!! You are so talented!!!
Hi ! There. Greetings from South Texas USA. I don't know why this video was appeared suggested to me, but I'm so glad it did I stayed for the puppy and the attention you give. And because of that you got yourself a new subscriber. By the way your work is really good, your so talented. Please more videos that interact with the puppy ❤ Thank you kindly!
Hi i'm brazilian and recently started sewing, his creations are amazing and a lot of influence on me, inspired me a lot with your videos. Congratulations and even thank you!
Awesome!!!!! You are the most BEAUTIFUL Autumn Fairy!!!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this !!! I am going right this minute to A C Moore's to pick up a few more flowers and more glue sticks. It is so much more fun making costumes than going out to the store and buying them. Hope mine turns out as nice as yours did. LOVE the staff and head crown. You are very clever!!
I don't think you really can, unless you wash it very carefully and slowly by hand. You definitely can't use a washing machine or be rough with it or the flowers will get ruined
Фантастически красиво.Я семь лет назад увидела это платье и решила сделать его на выпускной для внучки.Хотя внучки еще не было.Но она появилась и на следующий год у нее выпускной. Вот так мечты сбываются.Благодарю вас.
This is everything!!!! I'm about to get married and I was looking for the perfect DIY inspiration for my dress. I found it!!!!!! Can't wait to try this out!
JUST found your page.I also sew,but by hand and I sew t-shirts,leggings,etc. because I am sooo small that I usually have to shrink my clothes, haha.Anyway,I just bought a sewing machine and I will start practicing on it by sewing simple t-shirts to give away at my church for the homeless. Then,I'll start making these awesome dresses! so beautiful!..I also LOVE the retro era.Polka-dots,red lips, the hair!
reminds me of a dress Karl Lagerfeld created for the Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015 collection, flowers with transparent fabrics layered on top. gorgeous!
I made a fairy costume for my roommate and this dress was the main inspiration! I saw the completed product on Pinterest, and the skirt of this dress was so lovely, and your dress happened to be the same color scheme as the one I was working on! It was the first time I'd ever worked with tule, and it was the first time I'd ever made a skirt in general, so it definitely isn't as professional as yours, but the experience was wonderful and I know my skills can only improve :) I'm so glad to find your RU-vid channel! I'm so looking forward to seeing more of your videos :)
While I have no business making such a gorgeous garment for the rural/hippie area I live in, I ADORE this. I do make costumes for my Asian Ball Joint Dolls....This is going in the queue for one of them.
I absolutely love all of your creations! Watching your videos gives me so much inspiration for my own projects. I'm a complete beginner when it comes to sewing but I hope to be as good at it as you are one day.
I am attempting to make a dress similar to this for my wedding! Wasn't even looking for a video on it, just stumbled upon this when I saw it in my recommended. This dress is beautiful.
Guys, i just saw someone of instagram posting the same type of ensemble but with different colours, and asking to dm for promotion. Was just wondering is this Angela Clayton's original design? If it is, then someone is taking up her designs and perhaps maybeee, passing it off as their own. Please do let Angela know! I will pm the name of the ig page if soneone can attest to this. Thank you.
It has been copied by a few sites (most notably Chonrette) though i'm sure similar dresses existed before I made mine, i've seen exact copies made using the same process being made/sold/branded as original designs....despite coming out a year after I posted this video.
That is the correct way to make circles skirts. I paid for a pattern and it was the same way start from the corner and depends on how big you want the skirt to be. I love it because its so east for beginners. I been making skirts for my grandbaby she is 3 now and has lots of skirts I've made her. God bless. can't wait for your next vidio.
afeeni r She sewed the thin netting fabric over the front (which you see her do in the video, then she sewed the bottom of the fabric to the inside of the skirt
Does anyone have suggestions for how you can close this off if you are making a skirt. Like making the waist band and also using a zipper or some other type of closure?
I wish you would do more videos like this, although I like watching them, the ideas and clothing you make are incredibly interesting and I'm sure a lot of ppl would love to learn how to make them.
I'm going to attempt this as a long sleeved maxi dress with peasant sleeves this summer. Even though the fabric for a full circle maxi skirt is expensive it'd still end up cheaper than buying anything remotely similar.
Love, love, love this dress and am trying to recreate this for an upcoming event. I'm getting a little stuck on how to close the skirt on the back and how to connect the tulle layer to complete the full circle skirt. Any suggestions? Thanks
kawaii cuteness LaShay Aus I go over all that in the blog posts linked in the description! If the flowers are falling off that means they didn't fuse to the fabric, which is bad. You may need to use a higher temperature glue gun to make sure the plastic on the flowers melt into the fabric.
I'm sorry if it was obvious in the video, but could you clear this up for me? is the skirt with the flowers encased between the tulle or is it just overlaid??
Aerin_Is_Here this is the most beautiful dress I’ve ever seen in my life. Imagine how cute this would be as a wedding dress for a fairytale themed wedding 🧚🏻♀️
Ah! In a completely different direction Jenni Dii made a jelly dress with things inside! Its so weird to see opposite aesthetics mastering the same things!!! And how cute would a custom ita bag be with this!!
I don't know how to sew, I've never done a pattern or a gather stitch in my life but you can bet your ass I'm gonna learn so I can make this stunning skirt 😍😍
