As I get up extremely early due to work, I find that while I have little time for much at all, just standing outside and simply *breathing* while my pups use the restroom is the best start of my morning! To look up at the stars and moon and just appreciate the new day before I scurry off is life giving!

Jessica it has been soooo nice to spend time with you on consecutive days. Hearing your thoughts on so many things has been inspiring and has made me think a lot. I’m already planning some changes wrt some things you said that resonated with me. I’ve appreciated the continuity of these vlogs - I think they portray who you are and who you are becoming beautifully. You have a lot to offer people in many different ways - thank you ☺️

I just started following your RU-vid channel, and I’m loving it very much. I decided to go back to the beginning of 2023 and start listening there. I really enjoyed this particular video. First thing I do every morning is go into the garden with my dog and do some qigong, great for mind and body

I swear I started to relax watching your video. I decided recently to do a revamp of my morning routine. I have small children so I struggle to put time aside for myself. I've started walking 20-35 mins as soon as I wake up each morning, when I come home I'm more energized, my mind is clearer, and I'm ready to fix my kids' breakfast and get ready for school drop off. Many times I'll eat breakfast driving my daughter to school or when I return home. I've found prioritizing walking as soon as I get up has helped me jump start my day and clear my mind as I listen to a podcast or book.

Bible, coffee, yoga, in that order has to be a great start to the day. I love a hot shower then cold shower for the dopamine that helps the positivity of the day. Light, exercise, creativity is ideal as well! Trampolines are my favorite so I am gentle and loving towards my body, since even walking can seem harsh if we don’t take a hot bath afterwards! That’s a great day if I can include these things, but I would love to add meditation, except I like to think of breaks in the day as meditation, eating sitting down with no electronics is important, and making a tea or coffee break as important to keep mindful without a phone, maybe just looking at a distant view to rest the eyes as well. Walking is ideal because you’ll probably see people in passing and get a lot of the elements met at the same time like time in nature, fresh air, social, and exercise. It’s a win. I only wish I walked everyday. How much Parisians must walk, and stay so slim and healthy! All in all, we have to find our balance and our favorites ( places) and enjoy them.

I work from home- writing, supporting son 16 with homelearning who is just transitioning into college, chores etc. I run with my Cockerpoo Pip 3 times a week followed by yoga and meditation. I also write. I follow what comes up which is a mixture of posting on my own and others Facebook support groups and my book I See You; connecting to emotions for healing whole family trauma. I also follow the crappy childhood fairy’s writing daily practice which clears fears and resentments. This morning I worked a bit on my mood board for 2024 using Canva which was totally inspired by you ❤️‍🩹

I love that you read poetry. Poetry and faith have helped me process my thoughts and feelings using my journals to write books and set up a website. I started to write poetry in lockdown when my trauma therapy had ended and I put it all together out of my head and heart onto paper. Freedom from narcissistic abuse is a journey and knowing your worth takes time to unlearn negative patterns. I have all of my books in PDF format free to download. You inspire me to take chances and live outside my comfort zone. Paris is on my bucket list. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings with us looking forward to seeing you continue to blossom 🌸

Happy Monday, Jess! My cats always wake me around 5:30 or 6 am. I get them their breakfast; then, I meditate and do yoga. On days that I work, I will make sure to do an extra grounding, centering, and shielding routine, as I am employed in the healing field. Tea is also a must, whether enjoyed in a favorite mug or thermos.

My routine is get up at 7am ish. Make cup of tea and watch TV while slowly waking up. Have a mad rush, feed pets, shower, wash, brush teeth, chuck clothes on and run out the door at like 8.55 when I need to be at work at 9. Some improvement needed haha

Having to be at work for a certain time changes everything. Even just a minute of something nourishing makes a difference though

This was so lovely to watch. What grounds me is music. Sometimes it’s a favourite song that just stops me in my tracks and chills me out (mine is Protect Her by Sabrina Claudio, it’s about protecting yourself, sure you would love it, I can listen to listen over and over most days. Sabrina Claudio is my go to, when I want to feel happy, chilled, or sometimes it’s great listening to something so sexy as her words/voice) Every single day I dust, before I shower or do anything. I think it’s that thought of moving the previous day away. I cannot work if I feel it’s not clean.

I loved this. I really love tea to wale up to aswell... i cabt inagine thag not being part of my day. I do a lot of self reflection first thing too, organising, goal setting etc. I seem more focused first thing. X

Like the tides of the ocean, my morning routine fluctuates, there are two things that I can say are constant, the first thing I drink is a glass of water with lemon and apple cider vinegar, and later a very good, hearty breakfast (always with eggs).

I'm not a morning person, so I use my fancy coffee addiction to get me up and out. I put on my dress + boots, grab my laptop bag, fill a jar of peanuts for the crows, and just head out to the coffeeshop to work for a few hours on simple things. I work for a few hours, lunch, nap, then wake + coffee here at home. Then I light my candles (because it's always dark after nap here), and work on things that require my concentration at night. Then bath and bed at midnight. :)

@@JessicaRoseWilliams cat food 🐱 or peanuts 🥜 - they are crazy for either! They wait on the roof at 9 am and will follow me the whole ten minute walk to the coffee shop! They are a tonne of fun, even if some of my neighbours now think I’m a witch! 😂

So nice to watch 😊 My routine is actually pretty similar. I get up, prepare my breakfast (overnight oats that I make in the morning 😜) and tea. I do yoga, journal and meditate. Then it's time for breakfast, after which my day starts.

This video is so beautifully done. You can feel the soft layers of it. This gives me something to hold in my mind when I want to shift my space to more feminine and romantic. My style is different than yours but the process to get there can be very similar. Thank you for this.

Love your routine. I watched dr Tara swart on a podcast and she said to make a 1% improvement on lots of things rather than setting a large goal such as a new years resolution because its the small changes we incorporate that when practiced daily become routine x same as what u are saying about not striving for.perfrction, just make small changes x

This is so relaxing to watch and I do agree with simple routines that supports you and prepare you to face the world, I also have one where there is a bit of movement ( fresh air if possible) , I do some affirmations and gratitude and I get dressed for the day and put some makeup on, do you stick to a specific timing to do it, like do you give yourself a certain amount of time and start at the same time in the morning or it changes day by day?

yes to fresh air! and sunlight ideally. I don't give an set time no, I play it by ear each day but I stick to 500 words, 5 mins meditation, 1/2 page of journaling and 5 mins yoga then 5 mins pilates. Other than that it can be any time, it's weirdly always in that order though and I've no idea why

I'm all about slow mornings. There's nothing worse than rushing headlong into my day. I see you use a fountain to write with. You may find it interesting to know that the author Neil Gaiman writes his first drafts with one, as well.

I need a coping mechanism. At work today a criticism at work really cut through me. I feel like what was said could have been said in a gentler way. I just try so hard but it's never good enough and we know that perfectionism.is impossible and I'm not looking for perfectionism just kindness and respect when you speak. How do u cope with people when they knock you down. I feel.like I'm always thriving to improve my confidence, be more authentic, have more self esteem but always feel.knocked down by comments. I know I can only control myself and not others actions. What can I do to alleviate the pain this is causing me? I know I'm being sensitive but some things really just get to u. I think because that's a pattern in my childhood and growing up all I've ever known is I can't be myself because people will knock me back down or I have to be amenable. Aside from.that when people speak to you in a too harsh way how can I not allow it to get to me as it is getting to me. I've told myself it's her issue. I've been for a run. Running is almost a form of not just stress relief but self harm. It's hard. It's like Steve bartlett says are you driven or dragged. I feel dragged on the treadmill. I'm punishing myself and that drives me to complete the workout. I just want to protect my self worth and what small amount I try to build up and preserve. I can't let stupid comments and careless tones of speech damage me anymore. I feel like its always " u get shit down but i get up again". Im tired and dont want to get shot down and get up again again

I’m sorry you’ve had this. They’re ******!!!! The way people speak to us and treat us is a reflection of them not you so please know there’s nothing wrong with you whatsoever. I deal with this stuff by remembering that and focusing on the people who do matter, who’s opinion matters to me, myself included. There’s an element of surrendering control but also stepping into self-acceptance and self love. Think about how you’d advise a loved friend or a child if they were you and try to be your own best friend ❤️

​@@JessicaRoseWilliamsyes thats what I've told myself because it's absolutely true that it's a reflection of them ❤ i wish people wouldnt inflict their trauma responses on others. Once I recover I will just work on putting even more love and energy into myself but it's a constant battle ❤ u have such good advice as always xx

Hope is LAZY. She'll wait ages until she asks to go out. If I try to take her before she asks she gets very grumpy about it 😂

I keep wondering how Hope is doing with living in Paris. She seems deep in thought when you are filming and right by your side, or not far, especially this video and your tree decorating. Very protective of you, now that she is in Paris.

She loves it here. She loves our apartment, meeting all the other dogs and the endless food she finds on the street. I was so worried how she’d handle the move but there was no need to be

Also, on a separate.note. I gave up everything that I could possibly want in my last relationship because I fell in love with someone who doesn't want me from what I can gather. Now I'm stuck in love but on my own. I'm so confused which way to go next. Backwards to ex. Forwards to what? Sorry I'm on one tonight.

Ooooooooffffffft!!! I think we’re going to need a bigger cup of tea for this one! They say we fall in love with what someone represents so figuring out what that is might help. Brene brown says love can only exist between two people because it’s something we cultivate together. The best advice I ever got on how to get over someone is to turn all the time and energy you were giving them onto yourself ❤️ easier said than done I know x
