A year and a half ago my group of dendrobates died of a disease that the veterinarians were unable to diagnose. I got so blue that I let my terrariums dry out with the plants inside. A month ago I found your videos by chance and your mastery, creativity and passion made me return to the hobby. Today I write this while I look at the new one I built learning from your techniques and I remember again why I liked it so much. The peace it brings to my soul. Thank you very much for the work you do. A greeting from Spain.
One of the best enclosure designs I’ve ever seen. Not too cramped and very space efficient. A ton of plant diversity. Amazing texture and color variety. It’s so nice!
This must be what parts of heaven looks like! It is so serene. I have a small terrarium that has fake plants...not so good looking. Since I recently became wheel chair bound, i think redoing my terrarium would be thoroughly enjoyable project-- thank you for inspiring me!
I love your scapes and you really do a great job of showing how it's done. I plan on setting up my own terrarium and your videos will be super helpful as a reference. Thank you!
Finally a new video. he's just an artist. I think he already has in mind exactly what the terrarium should look like? he also has enough choice of building materials. just great !!!!
Oh my !!!!! 😍😍 this is definitely the best I’ve seen . I’m currently about to make my very first dart frog bioactive terrarium and this is what I envisioned but I don’t think I’ll come close to this 🥺 I want this set up so bad! absolutely incredible build! Pure talent!
Wow , been looking for a while now on how to do an amazing set up like this, upgrading my current viv to one around that size and was struggling to figure out what to do with the pump but this is amazing thank you!! 🖖
You're just absolute killer... I have the exact same project but I wonder : you don't need a false bottom ? The water beeing all around in the bottom is fine ? I'd love to discuss it with you : you're number one inspiration. Thanks for the vids and keep up the amazing work !
No there's no need for a false bottom if you're setting up your tank like his. If you're building a water feature with a filter+pump the water needs to be able to circulate around your bottom. So he's using the foam you can see at the beginning to build up his bottom which allows the water to pass freely back from the puddle to the filter. And at around 8.30 in the vid you can see he also created multiple levels where the frogs can sit off the bottom level (should they still find it too wet). It's a pretty good build :) .
Thank you for your detailed explanation!! I am not good at English, so I don't know if my words will be delivered well! The water cycle is really important! So I used a filter sponge in the space below to prevent water from collecting at the same time as filtering. That sponge space allows the formation of filtration bacteria and the flow of water.!
I am huge lover of aquascaping , whatever you have done is not less than a magic , it's just awesome , lots of love from INDIA , I would love to visit and meet you ❤️❤️
