That’s a nice edition of Borges! I own it, but I haven’t read through it yet. A friend of mine, however, is a fan of him; so perhaps this is a sign that I should read him soon. Great video!

I'm not a fan of Thomas Mann, but I'm currently reading Empusion by Olga Tokarczuk, which is heavily inspired by The Magic Mountain. I think you would enjoy it too. Have you ever read poems by Mascha Kaléko? I know you are enjoying Rilke, so you might enjoy her poetry too.

I’m with you on the buying books for potential projects Aaron, I do the same and I think it’s easier to justify the spending if you have a plan to read it- even if that is not for a while 😉 I know you listen to Empire too and Simon Sebag has been on there a lot- did that inspire this purchase? How is the little one doing?
