Thanks for all the valuable videos! I am facing a little issue when trying to calibrate my ESA on a 2007 BMW K1200GT. The rear was successful but I am getting an error when trying the front one. Any suggestions?

Hi Randy, well on one hand this electronic suspension on my Beemer is great. Because when ever you are suddenly on a cobble stone road, which we do have a lot overhere, I can put the suspension on the soft mode with just the press of a button. The other benefit is that when my wife wants to get onto the beemer (she isn't that tall) I can make the bike lower itself so its easyer for her to get onto it..lolll. BUT thats all wonderfull until something breaks down.. which I had with the rear shock absorber.. Its started to leak. The original cost a fortune.. But Wilbers makes a shock specialy my Beemer and its fully compatible with the ESA system. But in those cases you are better of with the non-electronic shocks.. as they are much much cheeper..😉

Hello friend. Congratulations on the channel, excellent work. My ESA Suspension stopped pre-charging, I checked with Motoscan and it shows error A329 "Engine operation Supply voltage between 9 V and 16 VZFE is correctly configured (Enduro ESA) ESA front shock absorber servomotor is activated Start key not activated" Can you help me?

I am not sure, but I think it easier for the shocks to extend. And you have a centre stand anyway 😉👍🏻👊🏻

Thanks I have just downloaded the app and wondered which license you need too. Did you find out which license you need for the adjustment?

@@ashleysimon96 You need the most expensive one. Everything else is just worthless. If you are a "hands on bike" man, then it should pay itself in a couple days of use.

hello, what parameters does the shock absorber calibration use? Rider weight? standard default parameters? can you answer me?

Hi Gianluke, The preload motor just goes from all the way in to all the way out and in again. Then those (new)values are programmed in the ZFE unit again.

@@TheOldMechanic ok thanks, I'll ask you another question: I have a k1300s with ESA 2 SUSPENSION (see motoscan list: k40 ). If I enable, with the motoscan app, the ESA FRONT parameter, it MAKES ME THE CALIBRATION of the front suspension + the rear suspension. if FRONT ESA remains enabled, however, it does not allow me to vary the rear preload (rider only / rider + cases/ rider + passenger). To get this mode back I have to disable ESA FRONT (obviously it doesn't let me do the front calibration anymore). The question is: if I enable front suspension calibration, and then I exclude it, it is no longer electronically controlled and therefore technically how does the front suspension work?

@@TheOldMechanic Thanks for replying OM,I was going through the jobs on the bike with the help of your vids,,,, service reminder, TPMS now working,then I went on to the ESA calibration, but it never moved,it also doesn’t move on the button either, so it could be a faulty module,but checking it might be a be much for me 🤔 Cheers Baza 👍

I do same thing on my 2005 K1200s can only calibrate Rear shock, but front give me Error, invalid... Has anyone been able to calibrate K1200s front shock?
