How is the plastic dial on the 587, more ‘tactical’ than the sapphire dial on the 514? I didn’t quite understand how it is that ‘lug screws’ are more tactical than lug pins either?

Really? A screw-down crown on a manual winder? I assume they know what they're doing, but I just wouldn't be comfortable with that. I would feel like I'm wearing out the threads by screwing and unscrewing the crown every day even if it is built to handle it.

+Richie P That's exactly the reason I decided against getting a 514. Such a shame they designed it like that, as it's a great looking watch.
