I have a Motherboard similar, but from a Whirpool side by side, and just spoted that some capacitors are inflated. May be DC filtering is not goos. Will replace and let you guys know. Guess it will be a fix.

I have a ge model gsl25xgwass that after a aggressive power outage my front control is blank with no lights and has a clicking sound from the front controller I popped off the front controller and the clicking sound is coming from the pezio speaker and the lights come on inside, no compressor and fans come on at all! Help!

when touching the big black capacitors on top , is it normal that they give off current? Or could this be a sign of a faulty board?

The Samurai man knows this one I bet. Got a GE frig that had a brownout and burnt out the mother board, only problem is it took out the blue power plug also. Where can I get one of those power plugs (the blue one that give the power to unit)?

My muthaboard was replaced 21 months ago by a repairman, I'm having another issue now with the evap fan, I noticed the jumper wire on the j 1 connector from prong 1 and 2 has been cut ? Had black tape over it so it's not jumping anymore. Is that a big deal? my fresh food thermistor located in the top of fridge with the damper dilly is at 10.50 when in glass of water and the freezer bottom one is at 15.50 when cold with ice pack. any advice? Thanks

I am replacing planning to replace my motherboard because the fridge side of my GE Monogram is freezing the food, no matter what temp I set to. I replaced the thermistors, and the problem remains.

Check the damper door first. Its a plastic door that lets the evaporator fan blow freezer air into the fresh food side of the unit. The doors break allowing freezer air into the fresh food side all the time. Door kit like $50 on amazon vs. more expensive motherboard.

I NEED HELP !!! My 2007 GE side by side refrigerator worked fine till a power outage, it stopped running only thing that works is the interior lights. there are no lights on front panel there Is no clicking so I looked behind refri to see if there was a reset button went on line no help that I could understand so I Jiggled all connections nothing just interior lights . I have the board right next to me as Im writing this the board has a tag pasted to it which says WKKT 1304-00-70A 200D6221G015 2007DG THE TAG ALSO SAYS c looks like a back words RU or SLI us R102FC . I LOOKED ALL OVER BOARD TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANY BURNING OR FRYING NEAR THE TOP WHERE THE 4 WIRE CONNECTORS THERE ARE 2 GREEN BEAN LOOKING THINGS # 2R %5 3W ..THAT LOOK LIKE THEY GOT HOT AND DISCOLORED THE CIRCUIT BOARD ON THE BACK THERE ARE 4 TINY TINY TRANSISTOR THINGS WHERE THE CIRCUIT BOARD GOT DISCOLORED. EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKS OK . THERE IS ALSO A TAG ON THE GREEN GROUND WIRE THAT SAYS CONTINUITY TEST 4/14/07 SO FRIG IS 12 YRS OLD . HOW MUCH FOR A BOARD LIKE THIS AND WILL THIS FIX MY FRIG PROBLEM. BECAUSE A NEW ONE WILL COST ME $500 OF A BASIC FRIG SCRATCH AND DENT FROM HOME DEPOTE WHICH I CAN DEAL WITH. I DONT WANNA INVEST IN THIS FRIG AND FIND OUT ITS NO GOOD AND THE IM STUCK WITH A NEW CIRCUIT BOARD AND A BROKEN FRIG PLEASE HELP ME THANKS

WOW !!!! weirdest thing happened the board has been out of the refrigerator for a week on the dining room table . well went on youtube to see how to test the board well the dam refrigerator started working like new then i put the cover over board and I unplugged the frig I plugged it in after I cleaned the compressor and other parts then it would not work again then i took off panel and the bitch started working so i put the panel on and its still running as of 10 min so i set the temp and we will see aftter 12 hours or untill we get another surge which will perhaps fry it permently . So I think its the board and i put ice trays in to see if it freezes so im still interested in a new board if the thing freezes how much for a new board and what is the life span of a mother board since this is 12 yrs old . hope they make one that lasts indefinatly like they make for space travel in sub freezing temps the EPA speaks of waste and being green dont throw away appliances repair them unless the fall apart. Do like they did in the 1920s to 1960s repair stuff not throw it away.

@@manlaw83 I have the same board that did the same thing. Pulled the board, did a super careful inspection for bad caps or burn spots, nothing obvious. Ordered a replacement board through Amazon and just before putting it in did one final plugin and check of the old board and what you know it started working. Sent the new board back, and now guess what, 6 weeks later dead again, urrgh. Ordered another board, waiting for it to come in, wish me luck.

GE Profile. Burns on the board at R43. Cleaned FILTHY condenser. Going to replace board. Hopefully that'll do it???

what if you plug it in and it clicks once but just like every thing else in the video isn't working still the board? no burn marks... didn't stop working till it was pulled from the wall to do a dust cleaning then when it was plugged back in nothing but lights inside and a single click from the momma board. where do you get the diagram to see the volts each pin requires?
