WARNING: Stay was from TransAmerica Life Insurance. I had TransAmerica from 2013 until 2017... When I was unemployed for a short time I couldn't afford the $37 month cost. So I asked for the policy to close. In the four years I had the policy and then closed it TransAmerica sent me a check for just $18 dollars. YUP four years of paying $37 to receive a closed policy check for just $18 dollars.... Simply NOT worth IT!

Open a simple IRA. If insurance paid out, they wouldn't be a business. Insurance companies make sure to get their cut. " Nice life you got there, shame if something was to happen to it". I'm not advocating for any company, just go with a low and slow account, make sure your cutie can get access to it, and write down that you think expensive funerals are stupid. Life insurance that cares.

As an RV'er one thing I heard that I've taken to heart is anything in an RV needs to be able to survive a long running 7.0 earthquake. That's approximately the level of shaking an RV gets driving down the road. Anything I've built of modified on my RV has been terribly overbuilt. Extra screws, extra glue and most importantly, designed for easier repair/replacement when it does (invariably) break. Looks like a fun project. I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

@Bourbon Moth Woodworking, your void space between the bed and wall, would be a perfect place to store Cables, Towing straps, Rags, and other stuff of small bits and bobs. Heck, you could make a 90 degree shelf that has a bunch of tools attached to it. That rolls in and out.

@VeretenoVids
@VeretenoVids Год назад
@@jackfntwist There were big flowered wallpapers around in the late 60s. You can find design catalogs in the era that show them. I was a small kid in the 70s. I clearly remember that my mother put up *plaid* wallpaper. The kitchen was all avocado green. Including the carpeted floor. 😱 I will not discuss the gold flocked wallpaper in the entryway. 😂 I now live in a house that was built in 1910. I am slowly peeling away layers of wallpaper that have been painted over. I've come to hate wallpaper with the fire of a thousand suns!
@jackfntwist

@@VeretenoVids I'm same age. I think the 60's flower patterns were more geometrical and not so much avocado / orange. Also, wallpaper was more ubiquitous in the 70's. My daughter runs an Air B&B. It is an older house that was "updated" in the late 60s - avocado green kitchen, big daisy bedroom wallpaper, and so on. She decided to celebrate it and added more stuff in that vein, including a record player with her album collection. All the guests rave about the retro vibe. One of her sons had gone down to the house and my daughter asked if it looked like the guests had settled in. Her son said he guessed so, as they had "Satisfaction" playing on the stereo.
