A Thorough Praise of Re:Zero S02 E08 

Once again, apologies for the invasive copyright cover. Decided to make it a premiere too so i can watch it with those of you who join.

God episode 8 of season 2 is one of my favorite anime episodes I've ever seen. Season 1 had many great episodes too, like episodes 15, 17, 18. But seeing subaru finally being able to say something in episode 8 of season 2 was just amazing. Rezero will probably never be dethroned as my favorite anime, it's just that amazing, made in abyss is the only other thing that comes even a little bit close.

3:21 - 3:28 Thank you for saying this. A lot of people don’t seem to realize how important loosing Rem for Subarus further actions and behavior was. Like why was Subaru so persistent to return to Emilia even though he had the opportunity to talk to the witch of greed for the first time. Rems existence in the story still matters which should’ve been obvious after the third tea party but somehow people missed that. 5:18 His name is Petelgeuse. The author said that he’s intentionally written/pronounced with a „P“ instead of „B“. 28:34 Subaru was already wondering this in season 1 episode 7 right after he tried talking about RbD for the first time. Imagine having this fear just for some random strangers (viewers) to tell you that you should just kill yourself.

Awesome video. I love Re Zero, but sometimes its huge scope and world built in later arcs of the novel can make you lose sight of these previous conflicts and just how much substance there was in a seemingly small structure. Watching this analysis just helps me appreciate Re Zero's storytelling even more. Thank you for the great video! Sucks this isnt getting many views, if you were to ever do an analysis on a re zero episode again that would be great! Even if not though I hope your channel pops off with whatever you wanna do in the future!

It's always refreshing to see a new perspective, and you definitely introduced Ideas I didn't even think of. I am always happy when someone can explain why a scene works so well, because sometimes I struggle to see the bigger Picture.
