I love how this Dad put it, “we got to carry her to the finish line.” I love that their goal was to hold and comfort their baby for as long as they were able. - it breaks my heart when parents are pressured to abort in cases like this. Every baby deserves to be carried to the finish line, loved by their parents, comforted and for as long as possible. ❤

I’m crying with you, I can’t imagine how grief stricken you are. You had her for a little while and she is whole and well and perfect in heaven now. She is watching you from heaven. My mom had 6 pregnancies but only got to raise 3 children because 3 died. It is so difficult to live with these sorrows and you ask God why do these terrible things have to happen. You will never forget her. You will always carry her in your heart.
This beautiful little girl had such a beautiful soul. It was literally written all over her bright smile and beautiful eyes. I’d like to tell you both that I am 45 years old, but when I was 15 my heart stopped for 3 minutes. So I know where she went. From the moment her soul departed this earth, she was not alone. The feeling of joy, happiness and well-being exudes from every square inch. A peace so pure and fulfilling that I have never felt it’s like since. Every child is a gift from god,I lost my son 3 days after he was born ,he had a hemorrhage to his brain,you had a lot more time then I did and should treasure everyday that god graced you with her,,I treasured those 3 days ,and know our children our together in heaven holding hands ,we are all here on borrowed time.I consider myself very lucky to have met my son,my heart goes out to you both

If I had the power to give this lovely couple the baby of their dreams, I would. But The Lord has this power and chose not to use it. What a sadistic God, look at the pain that these people are going thru. The only comfort they got is- gods plan
@Elle Van Romero I find myself feeling sorry for you, for you to feel that God is sadistic because this child was born with a defect that caused her to die in infancy. The truth of the matter is that every parent's child is going to face death one day, whether it be in infancy, or during childhood, or as an adult. If you are a parent and you're still living when it happens to your child, it will be your turn to say goodbye. God had to watch His only child die when he was just 33 years old. Was He being sadistic because He turned His back so he wouldn't see His dear son tortured, and die? It was for a reason..... you and me and this whole sick, sad world.....our salvation. We may not know God's reasons for everything that happens, but I know for sure that He loved little Blakely, He loves me, and He loves you, Elle.

Sometimes I lose track of my belief in God when depression overwhelms me (bipolar) but your wonderful heartfelt video just lifted my spirit so high and I thank you for your courage and witness to us out here who sometimes take things for granted. My sister was born with heart complications and passed away after open heart surgery at 18 mo. And my parents had twin girls at 7 mo . Pregnant and they didn’t survive. What a sad but beautiful story. Thank you for sharing Blakely with all of us; she was a happy baby and joined all the little children that sit with our Lord and Savior. My son died nearly 38 years ago, at the age of 3, from a sudden brain hemorrhage. God gifted me with a few visits from my son, I think to ease my pain, so I know there is a heaven and I know my son was made well and whole again. When my mother was passing away (several years after my son's death) she saw my son and was able to tell us that he was waiting for her. There are blessings amidst the sorrows. God always walks with us. Wishing you blessings with Tripp and any future children you may have.

There are no limits in love 💕 this little girl was a blessing, a little angel and I feel for the loss of these parents. They will meet her in heaven some day. I didn’t get to meet my baby, but I still have faith someday I will in heaven as well.
