A Touch of Kindness: When the King's Guard Met a Special Little Girl" 

and i dont think you all realize it, but the guard actually saying yes, is a HUGE compliment and gift to her.

The fact he talked to say “hi” an answered her questions…. Such an good guy

She sounds like a little bird. Kind little soul. Horses know kindness.

This child makes up for some of the enormously rude and annoying cretins that routinely invade this place. She is very sweet and gentle.

The guards knew she was special and of no harm to the guard or the horse. Kudos to the guards.

I freakin love this little girl. So much respect from both sides.

Maybe it’s just me but I’m willing to bet that these guards wanted to break character one time to show respect for this little lady.

You see the way she pet the horse with her palms facing in? She's a gentle soul. I'm glad they let her get that close.

SO precious. I love how she politely tells her (obviously excellent mom) ""One more" when calling "Horsey" at the start and then later when she stifles a couple of sneezes then says so brightly to the soldier "Hi". Truly a little angel come to uplift us all by her so sweet and gentle presence.

I think that this Young Lady, has more respect than most of the adults who visit The Guardsman! She asked The Guardsman if she's allowed to touch his horse! You can hear The Guardsman saying, "Yes!" In a clear voice, she then tells the horse that she's going to touch him! Respect to This Young Lady! And Respect to The Guardsman!

The mother is as special as the child. A loving guardian.

Adorable little girl. Her mum taught her great manners. If only the visitors are like her. She's so respectful of the guards and horse. The kind horseguard is so wonderful towards her too. I've watched this video a few times. Just love watching it as it is heartwarming.❤

little girl is a complete sweetheart , how careful , polite , kind soul and pure heart. The way she bowed and respected both of them and him telling her parents/carer she is okay. Well mannered too with the siren's beautiful horse was her calmed her down t with head turn I'm here heart warming to see. The horsey she did was adorable little darling. ❤️🐎

My gosh, her holding her heart with earmuffs while calling out "Horsie" just tore me up. I've been accused of being cold with no emotion on anything, but this one finally caused these eyes to water just a bit.

My wife and daughter are both degree professionals working in developmentally delayed children therapy. The comments are talking about the guards being great and they were fantastic . They are supposed to be rigid, but their officers allow them a little bit of flexibility for these worthy situations. Remember the parents. To get this girl to the ability to come out in a very public setting that’s very foreign to her. (she has hearing protection on) and she responded to her parents instructions. This is very advanced therapy results. Also look at how well dressed the child is . There’s adults that love this child very very very much. That are giving her the best start possible. I watched the videos frequently . They put up with a lot of crap from a lot of jerks. But their professionals, and when these situations arise with precious opportunities they are fantastic. It’s all low-key and very understated British behavior but fantastic. Kind of gives you faith in humanity

Whenever I see these videos of the Guards being kind to children, who look at them as heroes, I can only think "What class!"

She's a very sweet, compassionate, kind, beautiful girl. Her soulful, unpretentious way of communicating is genuine and advanced into a higher pure plane. The King's Guard are wonderful and kind. She can easily melt your heart.

Exception to the rules, special need children. Moments like these are precious, especially when lives can be so short.

This mother controls and teaches this little girl manners way better than many parents of “normal” children do. Really good mom.

She is the most well mannered, calming, truly heart warming little Sweetheart. Hope this visit (June 3 2024) is not a one off...I/we want to see her again. It’s really something when a special needs child is more respectful than most of the adults I’ve seen in similar videos. She did a wonderful job! ❤❤

Others have said it, but yes - it's not just that lovely little girl, or the guardsmen, but how beautifully her mum/carer balances it all. The guardsmen are human beings but with a job to do; instinctively most of them would want to crack a smile or say hello. The mum/carer understands and with all three strands balanced, it's perfect. And that's before you add in the horses!

The little girl is a Sweetheart.

I’m glad that the Guard had consideration of the girl’s differences in processing the situation. More people in these sorts of positions and professional careers would benefit from training in dealing with individuals with cognitive differences to make the world a better place for all of us.

Guards should be commended for their kindness!

If only the "adults" could be this sweet and considerate to the Guards and their Mounts. What a lovely, respectful little girl. You can't help but have your heart stolen by her. The Guards appreciated her manners as well, answering, "hello" and "yes" when she sweetly asked permission to pet his horse. Horses know a pure heart. Good job, Mum. Your little girl is priceless.

What a wonderful little girl, she is everything a human being should be, the sort of child you imagined Jesus encountered and blessed in his life time, this little girl has certainly been blessed by the spirit of Jesus, she is filled with and surrounded by his pureness of love, peace and compassion. This one little girl has more respect and kindness and consideration in her heart than a thousand of those rude arrogant tourists!

And the horses know there is something special and gentle about all of these people in the videos. See how they come over to these people so easily, no fear and seek them out for a touch and a smell. It’s wonderful….horses can judge people right away and know if friend or foe.
